  3. Hello all I have a solid that has a rib on top, I need to make a insert for that rib, so I can shim the rib up if need be, what I need is a slot and the insert. When I try to do a Boolean, the target body and the tool body are the same, since the rib part is part of the soild. How do I seperate the rib? Hope this make sense. Thanks

  6. I was able to do as Doug suggested and It worked But,I was looking to move the part to the origin, flat on the z plane.

  8. Hello all When I import parts in from Iges, most of the time they come into Mcam on all kinds of angles or just out there in space, how do you go about putting the part say... on the z plane, so it lays flat?
  9. Hello All When I do a 2d contour around a part or when I do a surface finish contour on a 3d part I get facets of segmantation were I need the parts to be smooth finishes, to cut down on polishing. (draw sections for Dies) Thanks

  11. Hello Again And thank you for the Great support! What made me start thinking about the Defaults in the first place, was the fact that I use Create Point Dynamic quite a bit, along with Create circle Edge Point, On circle Edge Point it's Defaulted to 2 Point.. But on another seat of MCX it's Defaulted to 3 point, which I use more, Leading me to believe a Default setting. Once again thanks for the help!! stevieboy
  12. Hello there, out there.. Let's say you want use Trim/Break, Then you click on Trim/Break, is it possible to set the next pick to Default to Trim 2 Entity? Thanks

  14. Hello all Lets say you want to Dowel 2 blocks together (solids) Extrude cut though both blocks and Select target, target body only give you one pick and you have two bodies to pick. Thanks

  18. Hello all Has anyone had trouble with WCS named View? When I pick WCS in the bottom right hand corner, and the pick named view, I get a little box that comes up...(Select a 2nd line) Not sure of whats going on here, so I hit esc...then esc again and I get this message... An invalid argument was encountered. This happen 100% of the time. How you ya get to the list of named view ? Thanks
  19. Hello I have found that, I can go into Mcam V9 and Print hard copy and get shade, bring model into X and no shade, I also found that, if I change printer to HP Auto 970, I can print a shades model. Does X support Lexmark Z 705 Driver? Thank
