How do you change the level of an entity? in X. quote: Select the entity/entities ( they turn yellow) right click the level manager box on the bottom of the screen. Click OK or choose a different level and click OK quote: Right click over "Level" in status bar at bottom of screen. Pick geometry to change, end selection. Pop-up should ask for your info. 8. in regaurds to retention knobs: some of the people here used loctite on them,we have not had any problems. I was always against the practice because we used to interchange knobs between machines. Now we don't have that problem anymore. I have always used a spanner wrench with a soft hammer.

  12. I have had problems, but most of them were resolved by either reading the book or asking on this forum. I don.t neccesarily dislike it but you are right about liking it because I learn something new.
  13. we just got rid of 2 500's. they could not rigid tap. but the yasnac control was very good and the machine made good parts - just slower.
  14. in the parameters of the toolpath you can go to planes and change work offset # to 1 for g55. unless you already fixed the problem
  15. I like cimco very much also, but I'm still at version 4.32- but it works very well for me.
  16. so, when all you people updated x did you have to back and change any settings?
  17. I have mmd files for the machines we use, but for some reason it won't accept them as a selection
  18. when I try to set the type of machine that I'm using I get an error that says: Control definition file for machine not found. default control settings will be loaded. I thought I had already configured all my files to x
  19. I figured it out, but it was just a new toolpath group, I still had to copy them from toolpath 1 to toolpath 2.
