  3. what's with the quote: hehehehe? Who's drewg? quote: Looky what crawled out from under the bridge. Man I hate when I don't know what you guys are talkin about.
  4. Am I missing something here? All my programs have G10 lines: G90G10Q2P1(G54)XYZ G90G10Q2P2(G55)XYZ ETC. Are you saying that there is a better way?

  7. quote: Lets all Give Ray Culver at CNC software a big hand for this one. It appears from his message that this trick came to us via his initiative. linky man teh stork and teh thad had some serious bickering going on. I like the cntrl click idea, but I still change the group name to the same as the .nc file name. I want the .nc file to match the .mcx file, but I make new groups for parts that have multiple operations and just add -op1,-op2..etc to the .nc file name.
  8. Once it comes back up when creating geometry, you can redock the toolbar and it will stay there.
  9. quote: I think the name of the toolbar your missing is the Auto Cursor toolbar, but I can't find it listed as an option. quote: Try creating geometry using a sketcher option. Creat Line and see if it pops up in you graphics window Yep - I got it back. Thanks.

  11. I lost the toolbar at the top of the screen that had the coordinates of where my cursor is. Does anyone know what it is called or how to find it? I undocked it, and it disappeared. mcx/mr1/sp2
  12. quote: That unselects the whole chain and you have to start over from scratch. How about backing up one or two steps in the chainIt works if you are in single chaining mode. It will back up one chain at a time.
  13. quote: Right click in the desktop, then left click Autocursor. You can turn off or on any AC feature you want. Gcode, when I do that I have to go back and check it again if I want to select a different type of selection. That is what I don't like, so for now I just leave the ones I use alot checked and keep reselecting if I use the same one twice or more times in a row.
  14. quote: 8) How do I backup while chaining. It seems to me that if you make a wrong turn you have to start over. There is a unselect button on the chain manager. quote: 3) What happened to "unzoom to last scale, F2" Now I can only unzoom by 50% 10) I'm really trying to get used to the autocursor, I think it has a lot of potential, but MCX has taken it to far by taking away the ability to lock in specific repeated point selection types. I agree 100% on those.
  15. Mine goes from the top of my screen to the bottom.
  16. There is a from button and a to button after you have selected geometry that you want to translate. Or you can give exact coordinates.
  17. quote: where the rotation about was not really the right view but it was the right view, if you know what I mean. What is the opposite of the right view, the left view or the wrong view?
  18. You create a point where you want the origin of the toolpaths to come from. You are telling mcam that is where you want the part to be programmed from.
  19. if you right click on the level it will ask you what entities to select. select the entities you want to copy or change and then hit the green done button. from there it is the same as 9. by the way...how did you come up with that screen name?
