I am closing this topic, as of now it has become an uneventful topic.

I have programmed about 10 projects and cutting with it full time.The highlight I come across once in a while.

Well it comes down to the same thing I always say Neil, what Cad-cam system is the best? Well there isn't one. the best system is of opinion as you show all of us what each different system has that MC does not. The best system for each person is the one were you site at the table and have an option to pick a peace from each system that works best. (now the thought what works best:as for that person at that moment at that table)Now taking the tools they like and making this for example into Neil J's best system for him. That is the best system.they all have some thing to offer ,some have more then others. Mastercam will continue to grow and improve. But so will the others. I know that I have been able to cut every thing to me over my 20 years of MC using this system and I am happy and to look forward to more improvements.

This is Why I use Rotate WCS about 85-90% and I like geo then solid face. Do you know most of the ways to set WCS or just one or two?

I picked by Arc center and I set mine by using the Named view in in planes and I should not have worry about WCS. I went back again and tried again to see if any new WCS were being created and NO. (if you pre-set your planes in WCS manager when you are creating an operation you shouldn't even have to go in to the planes box in the actual operation right?) You are correct.

Ok are you picking the planes and setting them for 1 and then clicking on the Green check, then going to the window I posted and picking the apply then the green check? try the oder and see what happens you should have to regen and see in the op that it is changed. Ok, I have found no issues. I have removed the path and re-did them, then opened the file and just added another set and they never changed. The only thing I found in op 20 not in the others is shown in my picture. Do you use Named View under planes to set before your path?

Kevin, I can review your file if you like.I have been programming parts for the Horz in X3 with an updated MPMaster for about a month now and have not come across this issue.

I find most of the time out of the box does great. it's when you start messing with the code or doing some multiaxis and you want machine checking. Also helps when proving out a post that you are fooling with. But for most 2 to 3axis mastercams out of the box takes care of it. How many of you have true verification software and use it for all your tool paths. I have it and barley use it and I write allot of programs that run lights out and never used outside checking. But I know for checking a program after the customer says this does not work. I have them send me the code that they used and check to see what hacking they did. I have got a few customers in the past to hack my code and blame ME. Well that was enough for me now.

I have been using the gradent for months on X3 never had this issue. Like you said must of been a hickup

are there any machines? did you move them over or install from the download?

So you are trying to get V9 to run on a 64bit OS/ I don't know of any one running that on the 64Bit. What version of V9 can make a diffrence to.
