  1. On the MC interface, is there a way to change the key scroll for the toolbar. Is there a way to assign a key command to scroll the toolbar? I want to be able to use "Shift & Command" the same as if I was using the arrow keys on the toolbar.
  2. We work 4-10's every week, year around. It's great!!!! Only problem is they ask me to work on Friday this week. That's ok, I'll have extra money to spend next Friday
  3. I fixed the problem. Just kept reading then guessing!!!!
  4. I need to make a change to my post. I am using mpmaster. When using only one tool in a program, I need a tool change that looks like this T20T20. I am presently getting a single output that looks like this T20. What do I need to change?
  5. Could someone email the reverse post c-hook. i can't find it in my c-hook file.
  6. I would have to agree with Ron on going with the most up to date post. I have been using a post that has been upgrade from V7 to V8 to V9. It posted everything as I wanted. The only problem was I couldn't get a lot of the new options to work correctly, if at all. I am in the process of updating to mpmaster, and have been amazed at all of the stuff that suddenly beens to work. So I am tweaking it to get that fimilar look and enjoying all the options that I should have been using all along.
  7. Thanks for the help!! I used the fillhole option. seemed to do ok!!
  8. I am machinig the face of a solid. The problem that I am having is the solid has a drilled hole in it. My cutter is trying to dip into the hole. I would like for the cutter to cut directly across the hole if possible. I am using SURFACEROUGHPARALLEL to machine the part. I am running V9.
  9. I'm using "GrannyNet" or dail-up. Don't have a router. Should I get one or would it do any good with dail-up. If I get the Norton's Internet Pro, will it get rid of the links that Xoftspyware shows that I have on my computer?
  10. Has anyone purchased the new handbook? I am about to make the move. I can't decide whether to buy the cd with the book. I had the first cd but didn't like it very much. I don't know if I couldn't get fimilar with using the cd or what the problem was. I think it took to much time to do searches with it or something like that. Maybe it didnt fit on the screen very well, and I had to do an across scroll also. Does anyone have any input on the new cd or the new edition in general. What's the best price that has been seen on the 27th ed.?
  11. I think I am going with Millman on this one. I am going to upgrade to Norton's Internet Pro. This should do the trick. Thanks for the input!!!!!!!!
  12. I have a ? about what I need to use to protect my system. First I would like to say that I have moved to Foxfire & Thunderbird from Mozzila. I have also ran SpyBot. I downloaded XoftSpyware and ran a scan on my machine. I had several things that needed to be deleted. When I went to delete them, the software want me to purchase it. I am running Norton's Anti Virus. It will need to be re-upped this month. Do I get spyware included in there package. Should I change to McAfee on everything. Or should I use something like Xoftspyware. Also does anyone have any pro's or con's on Norton's or McAfee?
  13. CC If you search for my member # you will probably find what you are looking for. I have had similar problems. I think you might what you are needing. Just a thought!
  14. I have been having problems on several computers being hijacked. The lasted one is running WN xp PRO. The file that hijacked the computer was messing with my Nortons Antivirus. It wouldn't et me do a scan of the computer. Also when I would try to go online the summary page for NAV would be displayed continously. Everytime I would make a move with the mouse the summary page would be displayed again & again. I finally uninstalled NAV. Then reinstalled it with the phoneline unhooked so it wouldn't initalize the modem. I then done a virus scan and found nothing. But was able to go online to do updates to NAV. After this NAV found the worm with 61 infected files. Took several days to come up with this plan. I am in no way computer smart when it comes to this kind of thing. But I have tryied about everything that has been suggested on this form, including no more IE. All I have to say is thess A**HOLES should be shot for doing this stuff. I tried the msconfig on a WN98 system, had no problem. But couldn't get it to work on WN2000. Is there a different program for WN2000? Thanks to all of the brains on the forum. It has been a big help in my time of need!!!!!!!!
  15. Sorry to hear of your lose. Prayers are still with the family. Hang tuff for the wife.

Welcome CC Don't run now, you are closer to solving the problem than you have ever been. These guys can help you with MC and most any other software problem you have. I am nothing but a sponge at this web sight. I have never posted a question that hasn't been answered, although most of my ? are simple. I don't know if you have ever done any machine work(run a machine other than a computer). If you have, you can understand why the dogs are chewing at your back side. I would put money on the table that you are out of college less than 5yrs, and think you know everything there is to know about design work and machining. I know from working in a machine shop that the knives get threwn very often when you want to make smart *ss comments. So learn to live with it. We once had a young guy that worked at this shop. He made this statement once(talking about the guys on the floor): If they don't have anybody from the outside to ride, they turn on each other. You came in here putting down something that means a lot to each member here (MC). We make our living using this software. We feed our families by using this software. We as a family (MC forum) take care of each other. So don't go around spitting in the face that feeds us. Alright fellow members, he did come back with his hat in his hand. So lets try to help him.
  17. Try 150 SFM with .0008 - .0012 chipload ? Up to .125 depth of cut.
  18. Present and accounted for. Just wondering if you might be able to e-mail some of those members that you are looking for. Isn't there email listed if they are still members. Thanks for all the HELP!!!!!!!!!
  19. How about creating as many cirle's around a chian.
  20. I want to put as many circles inside of a chained area as possoble. I am trying to remove as much stock as I can with a drill before I cut with a end mill. What is the best way to fill the area with circles. I then plan to drill at the center of each one.
  21. Ignore prev. post, I got it fixed. Sometimes I'm not as dumb as I think I am.
  22. I tried to get the c-hook to work but didn't have any luck. I have removed the files that were installed in the c-hook folder. Now when I am in MC, and going from one file to another I get a mesage: Library not found(MCAM9DEFAULT.DF9). I know it changed my config file, but I just don't see what changed. Any Ideas???
  23. James, Thanks for some input on this. If anyone else has any input on this please let it be known. After more debate or facts being made available, I will give reason for this question. I there are a lot of very smart people on this forum. I know I will get more info on this subject. Does anyone think that NAFTA has had an inpack on our occupation?
  24. I have been trying to find out who actually started NAFTA in the States. Who was the Senator or USRep that backed the bill? I know NAFTA was started under Bush Sr. then signed into law by Clinton. I want to know the beginning.
