  1. Thanks for all replies. One thing I like most was the outputting the screenshot in .png format as the file comes out to be so small. Is any drawback of this format?

  3. Ron, Thanks, Insert picture work but I know there other very easy way is there and I used to use that way but I forget now, because I did not use for long time. There must be some body who will respond and let us know. I really appreciate Ron for your help
  4. Create a mail, Format (HTML) is selected. Now on my one monitor have the paint open with the image and the other monitor with the e-mail open. If I copy the image and put on the e-mail writing screen with ctrl v, it does not work. If any body can help what I am missing? Thanks
  5. Hi everybody I have a screen shot of a menu and I open up in the paint and did all the arrow things,writting stuff. Now I want to put in the e-mail not as the attachment file but in the area of the e-mail where we do all the writting stuff. So if any body can help how I can bring the paint file and put in there?   7. Drawing shows chmf dia with 82 deg. If I go with solid,chmf, distance and chmf angle menu option than I have to do math to calculate the distance. Which option shows the chmf dia with angle?
  8. Hi everybody I created a part in solid and want to provide a 82 deg c-sink on the hole. What option will best suites to give the 82 c-sink. Is these ways to provide the x-sections views in solid to see the more details of the features. Thanks in advance
  9. Thanks Degmec In conclusion for left hand thread, you have to give M04 direction and orient the tool accordingly.
  10. Tool is standard for doing right hand thread, means tool insert only cut in MO3 direction. I can not put MO4. Thats why if I give MO3 and move the tool from Z-.5 TO Z.5 direction, will it give left hand thread?
  11. Hi everybody I have a situation where I have to cut left hand thread using std threading holder with rt hand threading insert. If chuck is on left side, Turret is upper and bringing the threading tool from chuck side to tail stock direction(e.g z-5.to z0.), M03 Spindle direction. Will it give the left hand thread? thanks in advance

  13. Hi everybody, One of my customer has send me certificate trust list files. Is there way to analyse the dimns? When I open up these files,it look like same is stl files. How I can analyse the dimns? If any body have any idea? Thanks in advance
  14. My computer have FX3500 card and driver version 111.19 which I download 2 yrs ago. I was checking the new driver and their version is 182.65. Are you guys keep updating the drivers as the new version comes or stay with the same?

  16. If I put the part in the top view and start moving the mouse the drawing view start moving with the mouse. View does not stay there

  18. Thanks David for the information. One positive thing I heard about Leadwell machine that it need very less service call. Is anybody work with Kia mill and lathe ? If anybody can comments on these machines. My other question is, if the tool magazine is sidewise (not the umbrella type), than to change CAT 40 TO BT 40 arrangement for some reason, what are the part need to be changed. Is Drawbar also need to be change? Thanks

  21. Before your response, I made it working by changing the option in the varify by selecting auto instead of as defined and the varify work without the problem. I thought auto box should be tick mark in varify as the auto is selected in defining the tool but after your response I select the as defined option in the varify and regenerate the operations. Varify work ok this way also. So if any body can explain what options should be checked in varify menu ( auto or as defined)? Thanks
  22. Hi everybody The file which I created few months ago in X3 and when I varify now in Mu1, it shows that holder is touching the top . Tool is 2. out and define correct in tool definition and also shows correct in backplot but when I go in varify I can see, it shows the tool out very less from the holder and it gouges at top surface. I am prety sure it was working right when It was created. Any idea why it shows tool out less from the holder in varify than in the backplot Thanks in advance

  24. Hi everybody I have to do .01" wide,.02" deep groove on 1.154 dia od on the lathe which don't have a Live tooling. Tolerances are the general tolerances of .005" Material in INconel 718 per AMS 5662. If any body can suggest me the tooling to do this groove. I have to do 10 pcs first and than 3500 pcs after approval. At the moment I am thinking more towards some .01 grooving insert and later I will do his part On Nakamura and try to put the slitting cutter on live tool position. Any help will be appreciated Thanks
