When I start installing mu1, it give the alarm to close Mclogr.exe and to close this exit the Mastercam event log icon from the taskbar. But I could not see the icon. If anybody can give me any tip. thanks in advance

Hi everybody I never did the burnish operation and if any body can help me in burnish operation. I have to burnish the bore and tool I have from Cogsdill tool prod. It is INternal Roll-a-finish tool. I am using the cnc mill and the material is Al.,Bore is 1.437 dia. My first question, Can I give rpm to burnish tool or always the part to rotate and tool is to be stationary. If tool can be rotated, How much rpm and feed I should give to the tool to get finish of 16 in Al. My second question, Should I provide M00 before Burnish operation to clean the bore first. Third question, Does it need the coolant or oil. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

The arrow pointer is still telling you which way is a positive rotation. The zero degree starting point is the chain that was picked to revolve.Yes FP1, this statement now satisfy all the cases of Revolve surfaces. Thanks

Hi everybody In the bellow surface,start angle box shows the 0 deg and finish angle box shows the 180 deg. Now if I see, drive profile should be the start angle and if we see the arrow concept it should have the value of 180 deg and since the surface is at the bottom half, the end angle should be 360deg. If I give these values as Start angle 180 and Finish angle 360 the surface created at top. I don't want to use the inverse option to get my result right. Does the inverse button already prssed in the image I am showing? If someone can clear this concept Thanks in advance

Hi everybody If someone can explain how to decide the direction of angle in creating the revolved surface. For example, If we have a curve as a profile and a line as a axis, I want to create semi cirle surface,means surface on the top half than how we decide the start angle gonna be 0 or180 and end angle will be 180 or 360. So far I always get the result by flipping option. Thanks in advance.

Goodmorning everybody, I decided to play with FBM option and when I select the FBM mill from the toolpath menu, I get the following message Prior to this I set the complete Machine group properties. If this message is regarding the file Mill_inch.defaults, this file is already in c:mcamx3millops folder. When I click ok to this alarm I get the error as "File does not exist" . When I do Ok to this alarm it give the normal FBM toolpath -mill parameter page. If anybody can tell what am I missing? Thanks in advance

Sorry top question is incomplete and the following is the further information. I want to do the internal groove with the form tool as shown. This tool have to enter from the centre to required depth than to do the contour to make the internal groove and than come out in X or Y than to clear in Z. How can I acheive this? Thanks in advance

When I try to open the "What's new" in Mastercam X3MU1 file, I get the alarm as "There was an error opening the document.Bad encyrypt dictionary" Does anyone know what's wrong? Is there any other place I can read "What's new" in mr3mu1?

Two point toolpaths idea is good to get the required result of different rpm and feed. To make point toolpathe more stronger it would be good to have the control of rpm and feed button in this option.

Thanks Collin and gcode for the great ideas. If I go back to my original post I got my point toolpath. Earlier I could not get it because in the point toolpathe it project the point and as I change my 2D t0 3D option at the bottom I got the toolpath. I change the feed using the toolpathe editor. The only problem I still face is, How I can I put different rpm just before z-.875? I could not find any option of changing the rpm in point toolpath and the toolpathe editior. Any ideas, please. I want the toolpath move as GOO at z.2, G1Z-.7F20.,z-.875 F10.,G00 z.2 I select the point toolpath, G0 icon active,select the point at z.2,than pressed G1 button and select the point at Z-.7 and than Z-.875, than G00 pressed and select point at z.2. Than I was thinking to use toolpathe editior and change the feed stuff. But I am getting the nc out put as all the start code, G43 z0. and than all the end codes. No any code for the points which I select. Some thing I am not doing right If any body can tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks
