Anybody there to respond?

Coolant question When I create the new file in lathe and when I create the operations I want the coolant to get on in default. So far most of time when I create file I use edit common factor and select ll operation to put coolant on. Now to put in default I tried in control definition, in Operation defaults I put all the operation with coolant on. In machine definition ,under coolant command I have ,Support coolant using coolant value checked, under the Machine group property, use tools step, peck,coolant is unchecked. So these are my setting and when I create the file in lathe since I put in control definiton uder operation default I put all the coolant on but why I don't get the coolant on when I create the file Any tip please, what am I missing Thanks

I find out the problem now. I was doing the changes at the right place but in the Machine type,Lathe ,definitions was connected to the MR2 folder. Thanks Ocean, I did that step too before I put my first post.

Hi everybody If somebody can help me out with what I am missing? I did the changes in my machine definition as follow Nothing get changed. The description and toolbar state stay the same as before. Any idea please.

Hi every body Some time when I import the operations it give the pop up message "Deleting tools used in operations". I could not figure out why is giving this message and most of time when I import operations it don't give this message. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Do you have default active spindle checked as right?Robh--Active spindle is checked Just change the toolholder from right to left or from left to right. I change the holder other way and it did the trick but when I do the backplot it shows the insert is at the top but actually on the machine insert is down. May be this is the way Mc will show or still I am missing with some thing?

Hi everybody I have situation I am using bottom Turrett and left spindle. With the following setting it give M53 spindle rotation and It should be M54 Now If I change spindle rotation to CW as shown bellow, it orient the tool wrong. Any idea guys, How I can acheive M54 direction with correct orientation of the tool? Thanks

Thanks Colin and Mls for recomending Snag-it program. I loaded this program in my office computer and works good. I have Gadwin Print screen program in my home computer and that tool also works good.

CTRL/ALT PRNTSCRNgets the small window only. How much window gonna be? There is no control of size of image. What am I missing?

Hi everybody I have to cut the hex on Nakamura Lathe,using cross tool holder and I am trying with no luck. First I was trying with selecting c/T plane as Back. Using only one contour with Y axis and try to rotate toolpathe for other 5 faces but I guess I am doing some thing wrong in there. Now I am trying to create 6 toolplane at all six faces and than I will try to give the toolpathe. I am not sure If it will work. If any body can help me and I am going to put my file on the ftp. Thanks

That's where you can change toolbar states, but I think if you select toolbar states from the menu, you'll only see what the default toolbar state is, not necessarily which one is currently active.This is just my opinion that if you have 3-4 toolbar states made with little difference and in case you want to see which is on atleast when you right click and go to toolbar states, there may be 10 states but the current one should be check mark. Thanks Ernie for your quick response. I use lot Findoverlap,break circle and few more c-hook. I already did in the right mouse click and to know more about creating the tool bar I made the tool bar for few mastercam c-hook also. To make it look more easy I decided to give the relevant picture icon and this is what I am trying to do. About my second question for giving the toolbar to customize. Even to put this thing to work with right mouse click I need to drag the command to Right mouse button menu so where is the icon for the customize. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Goodmorning everybody I just crteated the toolbar for the mastercam c-hook which I use most of the time any the problem I have, this give the same icon picture. So how can I put the different picture which can signify the related c-hook. My second question is under Setting, there is customize and I was trying to put it, in the toolbar and I could not find out in the category/command. Any help will be appreciated? Thanks
