I had a request from a group of instructors to suggest a way to test 2 Mastercam files for evidence of file sharing.
Ideally, a directory of files could be checked for identical database elements, or creation time.
For those with a finger on the pulse of the database structure, perhaps you could tell me if anything like that would even be possible.

Does any one have a method they currently use?
For S&Giggles, I turned the Affinity on Mastercam.exe to CP1 only, and set the Priority to Realtime.

In our benchmarks the M70 and M65 are pretty close. Some toolpaths - like Parallel seem to be faster on the M65. They have better graphics cards, so when the toolpath includes showing graphics during the calculations, they are faster on the M65, otherwise equivalent.

The verdict was that the 5000+ club don't care. If they want a custom title, I can do that upon request. Otherwise, they just continue to receive our immense gratitude.
Right now tool are defined according to standard shapes and parameters.
With the intent to support Lathe, I believe they will move to write out the tool profile automatically so that the burden is not on the post writer. In that event, it's possible that custom tools would be supported.
You should send a Zip2Go into our support email address. We can see if there are errors in the post that are allowing for posting, but slowing you down.
The suggestion was brought up to make a new Member category for 5000+ posts. Something like "Mastercam Addicts" .
Like the idea? Any suggestions? Maybe throw some ideas down, and I'll do up a proper poll.
In the past, there was some reaction to titles because the number of posts is not an endorsement of your Mastercam chops.
You need to share the type of target geometry you desire. If you want 'puffed up organic surfaces', Art is the ticket. If you want to engrave a logo with fixed depth, you just need engrave (v-cutter support), or just Rast2Vec (included with Engrave) which reads in bitmaps and traces the outlines.

In my experience any radio silence is typically associated with an intensely busy lock-down period right before a release ships. In this case, there must certainly be a push for X2 MR1.
