Im drilling a hole z-16. deep but want my drill to start at z-8. and still retract to z.25 to clear the chip. Is their a way to do this w/o cutting air for the first 8"?

Depends what you are doing. We just ran some 6'x12'x1/2" titanium plates on our planer. HSS cutters work great for ripping a welding joint overlap and chanfer.

Hi all Im using X2 MR2 mill
When selecting several partial chains for the same operation. Is their a quick key to use rather then selecting the partial chain and and clicking apply, selecting the next partial chain and clicking apply, ann so on.... In other words is their a quick key for the apply button?

Thats the way we do it also. I dont really like it. I find it better to set off 1 edge then go in mdi and rapid to where you want to be and then store locations.
