  1. My css file uses all forward slashes. I think the issue may be due to the spaces in the *file name*...try renaming the file using underscores or just remove the spaces. John
  2. Hey Gang, I have some complex waveguide pockets I'm machining and have the If all entry attempts fail option set to Skip. I do this intentionally to avoid certain areas. When regenerating the op, I get numerous warnings that areas are being skipped as expected. The issue is that regeneration sometimes STOPS at this op and won't regenerate subsequent ops unless I deselect the the Skip op or Lock it. Has anyone else seen this and is there any way to have Mastercam CONTINUE regeneration of all ops after encountering one of the Skip ops? Thanks, John
  3. Try this... If it doesn't already exist, create the folder C:\Temp. Put the installer in C:\Temp and run from there. I've had issues with other programs not wanting to install correctly when run from a USERS folder tree. Hope it helps! John
  4. Thanks for your help Thad. I now know the reason I'm having this issue... I print the tool list to a PDF from my browser. I then save both the PDF and .tl file in the part folder on our server...but I'm not saving the html file. I save the .tl file for future use should changes need to be made and the list regenerated, it contains all my added notes. As I stated in my previous post, after I load the saved settings the second viewing overwrites the "default" and it displays correctly. John
  5. Just noticed that if I click on the CSS button after loading one of my saved configs, it give me an error message: Cannot find the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\X+\<<<My Saved Config Name Here>>>.css file. Do you want to create a new file? So...it appears that when click the Save button, only the .tl file is created and not the related .css file. This is why the second viewing works...default_tl.tl is overwritten with the saved config data and the default_tl.css file already exists. Or I could be completely wrong! John
  6. Here's my steps and screen shots: 1 - Load saved configuration: 2 - View report 1st time NO formatting: 3 - Re-launch X+ - 'default_tl.tl' now overwritten with my SAVED config info: 4 - View report 2nd time - now has proper formatting: So what am I doing wrong??? Thanks, John
  7. I'm using the css/html version of the setup sheet and when loading a previously saved configuration, the first preview in the browser is not properly formatted. Correct formatting returns on subsequent views...at which point the "default_tl.tl" is overwritten with my saved configuration info. Anyone else having trouble saving & re-loading with proper formatting? Thanks, John
  8. Hey Everyone, I've recently been having trouble loggin on from the main page at www.emastercam.com. I enter my username/password and after a few seconds, a second page loads with the error message "Username or password incorrect". Logging in on this page with the SAME username & password works. This happens with IE 8, Chrome 22 & Firefox 15. Anyone else having/had this happen? Thanks, John
  9. That sure makes things easier...thanks Günther! What about alternating background color for the tool rows, is that possible?
  10. John, I've found that reducing the size of the graphics window in Mastercam also reduces the size of the screen capture. Sometimes I need to shrink it to a third of the normal size to get correct size & placement on the tool list. It would be really nice to be able to specify this in the css...along with alternate colored backgrounds for the tool list like before! John
  11. Brian, followed your extra step and it worked!!! Thanks for your help! John
  12. Thanks Brian...tired it but it doesn't stick, keeps reverting back to the unwanted holder/library.
  13. I added a holder to one tool to check clearance and now I can't delete it. I've tried deleting the tool and the op then re-creating them but the holder comes back. Tried renumbering the tools starting with tool# higher than the original tool# the holder was associated with and holder goes away UNTIL a tool is added that uses the original tool#, then the holder is back! It's making life miserable because each time I add or modify an op that's associated with the holder, I'm prompted to update/create new . Is there any way to COMPLETELY remove the reference to the holder??? Thanks, John
  14. A commitment to apply as much time & resources to fixing existing bugs (some that go back many years) as they do creating new features in order to increase sales.
  15. Hey Günther, Installed X+ for X6 and now have the layout as I like it. It appears that the number of decimal places is no longer taken from the systems Regional & Language settings. Some values are truncated to 1 place (no trailing zeros) and others go to 4 places. How do I control the number of decimal places? Also, I really miss the scrollable tool list preview that showed with the X5 version! I used it on every job to preview Z Min vs Extension & Flute Length without having to launch a browser. It was great for quickly listing tools used on a specific B rotation for horizontals too. Any chance of bringing it back? In the X5 version, the css code contained a way to alternate the background color of the tool rows for clarity. I can't get this to work with the X6 version...any suggestions? And finally, would it be possible to add the ability to rename the tool list headers? Thank you for creating & supporting the X+ Setup Sheet...its indispensable and greatly appreciated! John
  16. Hey Everyone, Just installed X6 and I'm giving Active Reports a try. According to Mastercam documentation, the [sETUPSHEET] xml file should contain sub-sections [sZ], [NCFILE] & [CAPTURE]. I run the built in Setup Sheet report then use the XML output as my data source in a new report. Under Fields, Bound, SETUPSHEET, only the sub-section [NCFILE] is available. How do I get the sub-sections [sZ] & [CAPTURES] to output as seen in the sample data? UPDATE: Need to actually take screen captures & define stock to have sections show up...but the material info is still missing. Thanks, John
  17. Originally logged June 2009 as CNC 00056559...Feb 2012 with Mastercam X5 MU1...bug STILL EXISTS!!
  18. Logged by CNC Software June 30, 2009, CNC 00056559! They obviously don't think it's very important...but I sure do. But hey, it's just my opinion...and you know what they say about opinions! John
  19. Thanks Roger...This should really be a built-in configuration setting!!!
  20. Hey John, Already checked and I found one of our ads from a while back is still on your site. Thanks, John
