  1. Sorry guys, Just trying to help by giving my feedback and hoping I can help with your day to day job. We're testing this software on some of the latest technology. Exporter...no, our sales and support are for the USA only. Wouldn't you guys like to know if Haas, Mori, Miyano or any other machine tool manufacturer reads this forum? Manufacturers probably dont respond because they feel your going to berate them.
  2. We're not a dealer. We are the direct importer.. Thanks though
  3. Chris...very observant of you.. but I'm sure Hymen could figure that out. I'm not here to sell machines, just to see what your talking about.
  4. I've had similiar issues projecting a curve on a surface then suddenly everything disappears. I close the project without saving it and reopen it and all data is gone.
  5. This is because of your power settings. Your hard drive is probably set to turn off and your experiencing a temporary disconnect when this happens.
  6. So if I email you would you post it?
  7. I had about 20 strategies in a project and projected some wireframe onto a surface and all my toolpaths dissapeared and wouldn't come back with "undo"
  8. Make sure that the other surfaces didnt move to a seperate level. I've had similiar problems with importing files.
  9. Steve, I had to uninstall it and reload it to get it to work. All I changed was the MRU from 10 to 20
  10. I tried changing my configuration setting while a project was open and completely corrupted MR2. I tried "repairing" the installation with no luck. MR1 works fine but it looks like MR2 is dead.
  11. Can you post the NCI file for that one path giving you trouble?
  12. Jump 6~8~20 to force DR signal on the machine side 25DB
  13. RS-232C for 0T/0M Setting Parameter(Setting 1). * TVON=0 * ISO =1 * I/O =1 (I/O should be set to '2' to use Bus type FANUC original Tape Reader) Change the following parameters * #012 Bit 7=0, Bit 2=0, Bit 0=0('1' for 2 stop bits) * #553 9 for 2400BPS, 10 for 4800BPS, 11 for 9600BPS. * #019 Bit 6=0 (No termination by M2,M30,M99. wait for % sign, Available on B/C) * #070 Bit 7=1 (LF insted of LF/CR/CR, Available C only, Not published) If you must use I/O =0 (It's reserved for FANUC serial tape reader), Use #2 and #552 insted of #12 and #553. Related Parameters * #10 Bit 4 to '0' Macro Unlock * #15 Bit 6 to '1' Over write existing programs * #18 Bit 6 to '0' No TV check in comments * #40 Bit 0 to '0' Show comments in program directory * #40 bit 4 to '1' Directory listing in alphabetic order
  14. The Fanuc 0M defaults to Even parity and 7 data bits. You can only change the stop bit and baud rate.
  15. Surface - Actually on some of the newer Fanuc controls 30,31,and 32 some features are automatic. But on older Fanuc controls each option has certain limitations. Some cannot do helical motion while modal and others cannot be turned on and off during an active length offset.
  16. Climb milling has a larger chip engagement that can cause the tool to grab and can cause the part to lift or push down depending on tool helix geometry. Conventional milling has a small chip engagement which can be better for finishing operations and can work with you depending on fixturing and tooling geometries. If you would like some information, contact Kennametal and ask for there latest milling catolog. Your local tooling supplier may have some. Its a great reference tool to have at your desk for all applications. http://www.kennametal.com/en/support/index.jhtml Generic info. http://www.hanita.com/hanita_protected/tec00006.htm http://www.hanita.com/hanita_protected/climb.htm [ 05-29-2006, 04:17 PM: Message edited by: MMT-USA ]
  17. 1st, George_G. badboy.... Suggesting you know the Fanuc option parameters is not a smart thing unless your authorized. And suggesting to give them away can get you in trouble. The option parameter lock on all controls is because of posts like this. Second, G8 turns on and off standard look ahead, typically 4~7 blocks. AICC is a 40 block look ahead with contour control acc/decs in your control and requires a software upgrade. Third HPCC is the best option for high end contour control 180 blocks which requires hardware and software since it converts ascii to binary conversion running through a RISC processor. Nurbs option is old technology, dont go there. Your options and processing ability vary whether its a 16iMB or 16iMC or A. 4th your machine is the limiting factor, not your control. We have a large customer base using Mastercam. If we're going to name drop, Mike Rosa is a really great guy at Mastercam for there five axis strategies. Version X, way to go! Much improvement over past versions and with guys like Mike Rosa this software will only get better. Our campanies goal is to really keep 5-axis simple. TNANNI is a perfect example. JMC we'll get you working sooner or later, thanks for your patience.
