  1. Email your dealer and they can probably give you a copy of Mastercam X2 Design LT.
  2. You can also check with your dealer. I believe there is a new training tool available by CD.
  3. Streaming Teacher @ http://www.streamingteacher.com/home/index.aspx
  4. B52's Are no longer made. They were discontinued earlier this year.
  5. Make sure you have 6~8~20 jumped out on the machine DB25 side. In addition 4~5
  6. Basically TCPC is an option from Fanuc that instead of feeding the control direct XYZ ABC machine coordinates, you instead feed it cutter location coordinates that are always relative to the part. The controller will make the necessary calculations on the fly to account for the effects of the part rotation. Some maybe familiar with this on the Siemens control called Traori or RTCP. Programs using this function in Type 2 are independent of machine kinematics and machine zero. This means if you change the location of the part on the machine you do not need to repost it. You can also use the same program on a machine with completely different kinematics since the controller will make the necessary calulations to adjust for this. TCPC automatically adjusts the axis feeds to make sure that the feedrate of the tool is relative to the part. No need for Inverse Time Feed G93 The controller modifies the axis motion so the tool follows a straight line relative to the part avoiding linearization errors do to kinematics. One problem is this function is not completely developed for the Fanuc and has some programming restrictions. The Siemens is proven with really no limitations. Hopefully we'll see more Fanuc users using type 2 in the near future. I believe Fanuc has added to this developement but unfortunately not too many customers in the world use it do to its current development stage. sorry havent had my coffee yet !
  7. MLS, It looks like you are using TCPC Type 1. Have you tried type 2?
  8. On this control while in edit mode on the program screen there is a button (OPRT) press this and your edit functions appear. Good luck
  9. You should choose a product with "rust inhibitors" in it. We've had great success with Castrols products. We have two type we use on a daily basis. 9954 full synthetic, and Alusol A water soluble. We have found these two coolants offer solutions for many different materials. Good luck
  10. Siemens Macro is alot different then the Fanuc format. Siemens has a piece of software that you run your Fanuc macors through and it converts it to Siemens macro. You can probably contact Siemens directly for this program. Good luck!
  11. DAMN IMTS...AND WORKING LATE...

This supports 5 axis part and machine simulation. Cost is about $1K per axis, for a complete package you are looking at $11K. www.predator-software.com for trials. -------------------- Greg Mercurio Shop Floor Automations, Inc. www.shopfloorautomations.com (877)611-5825 Toll Free Sorry I had too....
  13. Sounds like a salesman to me ...
  14. I do not believe Predator can simulate actual "Interpolated motion" based off of the kinematic system. "what the actual machine will do during RAPID motion" Relative to where the workpiece is in the machine. Actually I know of only one that does it successfully.... TruePath..
  15. Some new controls use HRV control "High Response Vectoring". Due to this feature, the faster the rapid the more the control will "ARC" the motion. This kinematic motion is a common problem, more of a problem in 5-axis.... Depending on the control, you can set the RAPID motion to respond differently. One thought is to post out "FAST" G01 motion. This is always linear, rapid is not.
  16. Have you guys noticed if you create a new toolpath group and then try to rename it to the same name but upper or lower case it will not let you. "Group Already Exists With Same Name" You need to rename it to something different, THEN go back and change it to what you want.
  17. I do not think that you can compare a Haas Mini-Mill with a Fanuc Robo drill. The Robo drill is about twice the price and more than twice the machine. Fanuc control, Fanuc drives etc. Your website looks great! Nice looking parts! John Ford -------------------- John Ford FYI ....$38,500 it's called the Fanuc Robodrill Mate. http://www.methodsmachine.com/machines/fanuc/robomate.aspx
  18. -DUGCYN The Matsuura machines bought in the USA come with a posting/simulation solution that works great with MasterCAM. If you want more information, email me.
  19. IMTS is coming...hope you guys are coming. Should be a great year for new technology in all aspects
