None of the conditional stops work in backplot for me.
The stop at operation,at toolchange or stop at step number in the "set conditional stop" icon is what i'm using.
I check "stop at operation" but it runs through all ops and toolpath groups.
Any ideas?
We are looking for software that automatically develops a correct flat blank layout from a solid model.
Pro fold is one.
I was wondering if anybody had experience with this or knows of other software for us to look into.
Thank you

Degmc, that's crazy talk. hehe
Next thing would be the clearance plane check by default and set to 1 inch....It's a slippery slope we would be on.
jking aside,i've gone thru the operations defaults and tool libraries and changed everything, worth the effort for sure.
Which one should you choose?
Should I be concern that the result will be different than the customers' model?
Can i change my tolerances so i can import without taking these actions? If so How?
Thanks
I'm confused.
Are you saying i have to name the level or shifting levels is common.
I named level one and when i open the dxf file the name of level one is now the name of level two.
This is a real problem because of the omax waterjet software is not picking up the different levels.
Saving as .dxf, iges and .dwg have same results.
After drawing geometry on level one,I save the file as .dxf.
When i open the .dxf file up, the geometry is on level 2.
Level two is named unnamed level 1
There is also unnamed level 1003.
Both of these were not there before the save.
Any Ideas?
When you choose circle mill toolpath and choose arc center, the field for circle dia diameter is ghosted out to the diameter of the circle.
This happens sometimes when you choose a point on a arc center. It ghosts out the field. Is there a setting to change this?
If it puts it in there thats fine but whats the reason for it ghosted out?
It back plots correct using wear comp.
Using control ,it does not back plot correctly.
I dont think it's a graphic card issue.
I'm getting the same result as you.
I get that error also.
You are not alone.
The compensation type menu was all ghosted out except for computer.
I tried a contour and got that error message.
Restarted mastercam and it was fine.
Frustrating...
That happen to me .I resolved it by deleting a file in the mastercam folder.and it fixed it.
I think it was toolbars.atb in the C:mcamxcommoneditorsmastercam. When editor restarts it rewrites that file.
