  1. quote: M00 code before each engraving operation? Check the "Force tool change" on each operation you want. This gives you a M01 HTH
  2. I did some last week, but i blew away the geometry and kept the tool paths then imported the new geometry and picked the new surfaces / solids and depths, and regenerated........... didn't mess with the Detect Flats option. Sorry Had to make 16 inserts for a mold that used similar tool paths.

  9. quote: A workaround implies there is a bug. This is no bug. It's a lack of understanding in how mastercam figures depths of features. +1000
  10. quote: The alternate process suggested by Midwest is a workaround. How long have you used Mastercam???????? This is NOT a work around. Maybe put your file on the FTP Someone will help you..........or try reading the Mastercam help files. This really is an easy and fast way to drill holes at different depths.
  11. quote: then later go in via Geometry and select the final hole This is not what I mean. You can do when you are picking your holes If they are drawn in 3d mode and you use Inc. HTH
  12. Try Inc. for your drill depths not abs. You can then drill all your holes at different depths (If you want) in one operation. HTH
  13. Did anyone hear something??????
  14. BUGGGGGG Noticed this Yesterday...............did a search on this great forum this morning........
  15. There is one on the FTP under setup sheets called setupX+.exe I believe this is the right one for ver9
  16. Try X+ you might search the forum for a link for ver 9 X+, or someone still using ver 9 might help you out. It lets you pick and choose what you want on your set-up sheet and put in the order you like. HTH
  17. Keebler, Pinky, Storkie and Stubmill Shall we add iowajim62 and Columbo and............
  18. Bogusmill, It's doing what you are telling it to do...............see pic below. You are using multi pass with the last pass @ .0002
  19. Bogusmill, what are you using for a post?? It would be better if the file you sent me had the tool path. I'm getting different numbers than yours with a .721 dia cutter as per your email. try the mpmaster post mpmaster I'm not getting your .0002 problem in my post.
  20. When you analyze you should see this window does the X and Y stay the same on each arc????? Also your rad and dia should match.
