  7. Why not break the line up. Have the X and Y together then Z after. G40 X8.6136Y-.2909 G0 Z2. (MILL SPADE CLEARANCE) (ptlchg0) A180. (ptlchg0) X8.7434 Y.0007 Z2. (ptlchg0) Z.375 G1 Z.003
  8. We only produce parts for our own use so no problem there.
  9. Not renewing the maintenance contract any more. Company has decided to freeze solidworks, mastercam at this point in time, as we cant see any justification for the added expense.
  10. No Problem on the Yasda here, Daishowa face and taper for all the back ends on it. Used to see it on our old Kitamura H300, but only after heavy roughing.
  11. Take a look. http://pub.brother.com/pub/com/machine/mov...c32b_qt_m01.wmv
  12. Dont know about the older machines but our new one has a High accuracy mode A with vibration control. You can also have automatic Z-axis thermal distortion compensation.
  13. We are using a Brother TC32B HSK A40 spindle taper for through coolant with system 3R workpal 24 station pallet loader and 2 axis Kitagawa indexing head. Only ever cut steel on it and no problems. Catalog states in inch's: Positional accuracy 0.0002/11.8 Repeatability +- 0.00012
  14. Oooops Missed half of it. Start again. DELL XPS M1710 Core 2 Duo Rrocessor T7400(2.16 GHz) 2GB Dual Channel 667Mhz DDR2 SD 160GB(5,400 rpm) Sata Hard Drive 512MB nVidia GeForce Go 7950 GTX Windows XP Professional 9 min 12 secs

  17. I'm using a 512MB DDR3 nVidia GeForce Go7950 GTX coupled up with 2.16GHz Core 2 Duo processor and 2048MB Dual Channel Memory. Seems to run ok.
  18. What machine is it you are using?
  19. On the FTP site there is a 5axis pps that explains the setup.
  20. I am using the onboard machine hard disc (M198 )for large surface files. These are broken into directorys for the different jobs we have to run. Is it possible to point the main program to the working directory wich contains the subprograms for a specific job on the machine's on board hard disc.
  21. Done the filter or not to filter. How about distance or scallop height. What are peoples views.
  22. You could try this simple custom macro. B is the address which is variable #2. Dont know the HASS machine/control but Fanuc control there is no N on the GOTO line. O1000 (MAIN) N1 G65 P9000 B100.(GOTO LINE 100) M30 N2 G65 P9000 B200.(GOTO LINE 200) M30 O9000 (SUB) (could put some checks in here) GOTO#2 M30 N100 (MACHINE CODE #1) M99 N200 (MACHINE CODE #2) M99
  23. I am using a data server for large surface files. These are broken into directorys for the different jobs we have to run. Is it possible to point the main program to the working directory for a specific job.
