Hi all, GMCCS brings a new function to create a holder by selecting a center line and partial chain. After that you can save it into a tooldb file. Very easy..... Small movie is also attached XPLUSHalter.zip

anyone have trouble with "Custom Tool" in X5

There is a problem in lathe if you want to use a custom tool from library. A message comes up "Corrupt or infalid file". It´s allready logged as cnc00089243 -

Hi David, try this first: * Browse to "C:WINDOWSsystem32". * Copy the three files MCBitmap.ocx, MCInt.ocx and MCReal.ocx. * Paste them into "C:Program FilesCommon FilesMastercam". Be sure to backup the existing versions of these files before overwriting them. Version 9 should now start correctly. Greetings from Germany

Hi guys, please could anybody test the file below on OS WINDOWS XP 64and Mastercam X2 MR2? Try to regenerate the engrave operation. Download ENGRAVE.ZIP May be we have a problem here in Germany with the German OS. If we regenerate the OP we receive an error message Could anybody duplicate scenario? Hi Plyd /Thad, into the upcoming release X2-MR2 you are able to pick "ALL SOLIDS" with the "QM-SOLIDS Function" before you start the surface function. Works well! Greetings from Germany

Hi all, we found the problem! All the customers which had the problem use the same antivirus software! It´s called "ANTIVIR" from AVIRA If the software is closed the messege doesn´t come up! So, it´s not a Mastercam problem! Stefan -

Hi, there is only one tiny thing! You have to create the viwes first before you are able to select them! This wasn´t in version 9! This is a small backstep in X!

Does anyone tried to print different viewports in MR1? Does not work! We use a KONICA-MINOLTA Color-Laser-Printer (Magicolor 3300)! We never had problems printing colors in VX and VX-SP1! After installing MR1 the option "color" is grayed out! What a miracle!

Hi ligrow Which version do u use? 9.2.058 - 9.2.059 are the latest ones! There is a known bug! It crashes if you select "isolate surfaces" for electrodes! The workaround is: Click on Job setup first before clicking on isolate surfaces! Stefan InterCAM Deutschland

Hi guys, does anybody run in trouble after updating to SP1? Since we updated 3 NT maschines, mastercam crashes very often during copying operations into the OP-manager. The Windows 2000 station works fine! Any remarks?? By the way, what experiences did you make with SP1? e.g. using WCS? Process stability? Plotting? Varify? Thanks in advance, Stefan
