  1. Go to start. In the search bar type regedit right click and run as admin. when registry edit opens click edit and find. Then copy and paste the key just as typed with the brackets { } into the bar.
  2. I had to delete key {3A6C4379-6FDD-4525-B28B-5AFCE93BCF63} 2 places from the registry for mcfsw. And key {9869D25D-C67E-4282-B4D0-DB6218BC94D5} 2 places for just regular mcx9.
  3. They used revo and found no entries of x9.
  4. I deleted it all by all the instructions I could find here. Called my reseller he worked on it for about 45 mins. making sure I didn't miss anything. He didn't have any luck so we are waiting to hear from cnc? If he figures it out I will post what we did to fix it.
  5. downloaded again. Still the same I must need to delete something else?
  6. I have downloaded x9, try and install a installation manager box pops up and only gives me repair or uninstall? Doesn't matter If i try to repair or uninstall neither one are successful. they both create a log file if that helps? I did have x9 public beta loaded, but I uninstalled, deleted folders and removed registry keys before I tried to install latest x9.
  7. Is it a synthetic? We had that at the last place I worked, It would get so thick it wouldn't pump in the older machines. It ended up taking out the o-rings on the y turret on an machine. When they came in to fix it they said it was from running synthetic so we switched backed to Mobil, never had another problem. I think the brand we tried was schafers?
  8. Thanks that helps. I was wondering how to machine them in the plastic? They want to prove out the design before they have molds made? I wasn't sure if someone had ever just machined them in?
  9. Has anyone ever machined this cap thread? Not having much luck with information about size or form. I'm pretty sure that the part was designed to be molded.I have attached a picture of it. I have the model if anyone needs to take a look at it. Thanks
  10. We used the cam wizard dvd's for training got more out of them then going to the class for a week at Esprit. http://thecamwizard.com/
  11. sorry file not attached 55819 1ST OP PERP .MCX-6
  12. This is what I get when I click perpendicular exit
  13. click use perpendicular on exit tab
  14. on the nlx Mori's we just got they have esprit on the controller.
  15. Thanks, we are having the meeting with the dealer just trying to get my thoughts in a row so I can kind of have some ideas of what I need to bring up to them.
  16. It is a 6 pallet pool. our volume of parts is about 1000/ order. I guess I have to think about it differently and maximize parts per pallet face to get the desired cycle time. even if we get the 6 hours between shifts to run unmanned that is a huge savings.
  17. Just got a quote on one with a 6 pallet changer. A little information we currently have 7 horizontals all Enshu which have been great machines. But we run 1 person per machine. (not very efficient to say the least). I'm trying to talk the powers that be that we need to try and automate the processes as much as possible. I'm wanting to know if anyone has experience after they put one in, the savings that were realized. We are a job shop and run a big mix of materials and quantities and I'm not sure how well a pallet changer works with a low volume high mix scenario. Just trying to get information on real world examples I guess. Any information is appreciated.
  18. I don't specifically know that index machine, I watched it run at imts looks way impressive. I will say the last place that I worked we had 5 of their g200's with the b axis top turret's and they were about the most accurate machines we had. They are very proud of them however. the last time the salesmen was hear i think he said the r200 was 1.2 mil?
  19. +1 to the Zoller. Parlec, Speroni, or Zoller don't think you could go wrong with any of them they are all pretty impressive even the base models.
  20. We have 7 Enshu's here and they have been pretty rock solid (even with lack of preventative maintenance).
  21. The salesman is coming in today. Are there any questions that I could ask him that might make it obvious that it is not as well built?
  22. Exactly what I am trying to explain to him.
  23. Does anyone know anything about their machines? Good or bad? I saw them at imts this year. Looked to me as a machine that is not built well or heavy enough. I am having a hard time convincing the owner of that. He is just looking at the price. 300k for a 3 turret lathe. I look at as a machine that we will have for more years than we should with little to no maintenance. I think we really need to stick to the Japanese made lathes. Thanks, Jeff
  24. I was just looking at it for a couple applications. Wondering how trouble free they are and whether it works just like they show ? Seems like a pretty slick system for the right parts. Also does anyone else make anything similar?
  25. Was wondering if anybody has any experience with these?
