Has any one notice any peculiar behavior when X7 is open too long?
When it starts to go buggy, you import a an entire toolpath group from another file
or from a group of ops, the 'tool' parameter page is empty.
AND all the tools imported in got add to the first MAch/Tool group and gave random
numbers to the tools listed. So say 'tool 3' was 1/2" em, when I went back in there
were drills and different end mills that were also tool 3' that I imported into the different
toolpath groups
Same result if you add tools to a toolpath group the imported ones don't show up.
they post and you can renumber the tools, but you CAN NOT edit them
I showed In-House this but no solution was found.
once I closed MC and restarted it was fine.
We cleared the Temp in hopes that that may help.....
This time I got lucky and I closed with out saving and it must have erred
after my last save, the two times before I had to redo all the affect toolgroups.
If anyone has seen this and know of a setting or something to stop the problem
from happening. please let me know.
Thanks in advance
Rick
because its a circle
the other point(top left of part) if it hit that spot too, it would be an ellipse or an oval
It did exactly what a bounding box circle should do
only a concentric part would do what you are after
Havent had it happen yet.
But i have been getting a even weirder one.
Import a group of ops from another file and go to edit
a cutter and there are no paths to edit.
yet they all imported and i can select geo and regen but Edit Nothing.
So had to spend an hour making them from scratch.....
inhouse was not available for support that day, so i was redirected to the west coast
The tech there said it may be because i imported from X5 to X6 and now
to X7 and MC cant read them in because it lost compatibility with itself
somewhere along the line.
X8 is only many months away. It will be solid, by the time its released
What are you guys Demacrats? nice answers.
I give as much of a Sh!t about JB as I do about the 10 crashes I had this week.
I dont follow him, or look around on the internet for his BS, like you bozo'z.....LOL
I work 50 to 60 hrs a week, I care why CNC wont put out an MU3 for the remaining bugs
but hey, if any thing JB must be the only reason they wont.
Certainly us working folk 'seem' to sit on the bench.
Back to gramming, only one crash this morning....unrelated to the spin crash I had yesterday.
Heres your breakfast JB.
Sucks when your boss is sitting beside you and witnesses it....
Ah well, at least it didn't corrupt the file... Lol
Joe funny thing I was deleting geometry while designing a rush job
with the boss and it wouldn't stop, then locked up, hard reboot to get
MC to close, lost the whole design
So he told me to video capture it
Said a few kind words and left my office
Won't miss it
went to hit delete and slight hit the end key that starts that stupid spin mode.
locked up and lost an hours work
PLEASE give us and MU3 for X7
i have a video i can send in
Where is that setting, and why is it broke in X7?....
Jeremy are you beta testers testing X7 MU3?
I'm find more bugs on a daily basis then even X5.
Maybe they should release X8, i hear it is rock solid and stable.
