I'll Strap you!!!!...LOL
Funny thing is you fill out the wavier then it is approved by CNC and access
is granted directly from them. So maybe his reseller hasn't even sent it in.
Gcode is a busy guy, give him a break
Newbeeeeeeeeeeee, Your reseller sets you up
Directly with CNC.
At least that is how InHouse did it with me, for the brief
Time I was doing it.
Stressful times, especially for beta testers.
They work with the new software think things
Are going well and then an issue shows up
That stops them in their tracks and have to
Make up that time and money.
I get it, but then again my shop had to put a protocol
On new releases to a minimum of an MU1 just
For that reason.
If you ask me you all have overreacted. Joe, you don't even know if he voted for Obama
so let them work it out.... ROR!
Lets see if CNC fixes this, that is the only concern here in my opinion.
The guy just wants a better .stl and it seems that others do to.
How did this get to be about the size of a mans part anyway?
Sometime you have to go directly to your reseller to get a less arrogant uninformative answer.
Wish I could help but I don't use .stl's for the reasons you posted in your pics.
I found the Stock model (used only rest ruffing) are better, but then again that's all I would use
either one for.
This may be the last update for X7
Our CNC department is having issues with multiple users
on different P.C.'s where some one made a mistake on a
job and after other users opened that file and made changed and saved,
we have now way of knowing who did the mistake.
Is there a software that my IT guy can set up on the server that
would make everyone using mastercam in that department on the
NET hasps log in to a job and record who, and when an MC job was worked on.
Would be even better if it could show what changes each user did
in Mastercam.....
Any thoughts and possible solutions would be greatly appreciated,
Rick
Any time you import out of any library(even if you are prompted)
change the name again by selection(after you save first), occasionally it will bite you
even if you were prompted, usually dependent on how long
you had MC open, in one sitting(which a restart fixes the memory leak issue
for most all MC redundant problems)
mine is as JP stated in config, but I still have to do this....
.
highlight all toolpaths in group, then right click on tool group name
(which I name the same as this procedure)
.
Once I do this (as well as the setting JP suggests) I am good to go and all new toolpaths,
(not imported or Copied paths), will have that name.
I had tried to re-produce your problem, but I cant as of yet.
I Always do a system image prior to any MC major install.
That way you are never dead in the water if you or your P.C. messed sumfin up.
takes 15 minutes to restore a system image.
Tim, you should be able to do a system restore to the day prior when you
started this endeavour.
That should get your registry back and you may be able to start over.
