Good Friday Morning .
Need Help,
I have a call out for a m10 by 1 hole for a tapered plug. I've searched high and low for info on a m10 by 1 tapered taped tap . I could not fine a tapered metric tap in any size. What i came up with was that you tap the tapered hole with a standard m10 by 1 tap. Is this correct info.
Good Morning
What would be the best way to get my post to omit posting "A" for rotary index. I' want two post's set up . I want one for when we have the A axis rotary hooked up and one when its disconnected.

I not sure what is creating the difference. I"m using asme post . I have two different part files. I would like to post block numbers with the N100 then N110 at tool changes (bottom code.) My other part file is posting block numbers ever line. I'm not sure what I've changed to cause the difference between the two part files. Any Ideas on how to get me back to just the block # on tool changes
Thanks Heavy

We are looking at a Roders machine for high spped milling and the salesmen said we couldn't use Mastecam to program. We woulld have to step up tp a different software. Is this just a line of crap. Is anyone out there running these machines. Type of work we would be doing is small cavity work with .02 to 03 or smaller endmills? EDM finish is not good enough anymore.
Thanks
I made some changes to a post. I want to keep the orginal so I re-named the one i changed but i get a post error. Something about a missing binary file. I assume this is because another file is linked to this this post for it to run correctly. I thought it was the .psb file so i copied and changed it to same name but I stil get a error when posting. The post is for c-axis lathe. Not sure where to look next?

I have a 2d drawing with dimensions , When I create a PDF with the verisurf tool it leaves out the dimensions numerals but not the lines.
Is this a bug in the pdf creator ?
Thanks
Thanks for the replies. I have thought about leaving tabs. Just wanted to bounce it off everyone. I might look into the tape maybe for the light cut finish work. I agree this is a ugly part.
