  1. It's a learning process. I owe a whole lot to this forum learning trips and tricks about Mastercam. This thread is a great example of making things faster and better. Thank you eMasterCam forum.
  2. Sorry to hear you lost your toolpaths Sonny. I try to avoid that by constantly saving my files with different names. ie PART1-AUG-10-2013.MCX PART1-AUG-11-2013.MCX PART1-AUG-11_10AM-2013.MCX PART1-AUG-11_12PM-2013.MCX At the end I go and delete all the extra programs. It has saved me many times.
  3. This is cool. I create new geometry, (xfrom, offset control with z depth) but this is easier.
  4. Are you setting stock in the operations manager as well? This is new to x7.
  5. Joining TheeCircle™ is the ultimate goal.
  6. And all this time I though it was because my poor diet. http://www.emastercam.com/board/index.php?showtopic=73884 In my most honest butthurt opinion, The new verify needed more time in beta.
  7. +1 CutePDF http://www.cutepdf.com/
  8. Ron, you're the best @ putting wasted time into perspective. I still remember when you said that a minute lost is actually two minutes lost because you could be doing something with the minute you lost in the first place.
  9. That I need to work less and do the programs they make. But looking at others peoples programs I've learned a few tricks. You should check it out. http://www.emastercam.com/board/index.php?showforum=36
  10. Keep in mind the direction of the extrusion. You can only input positive values. So it's gonna cut/add in the direction of the arrow after chaining.
  11. for the through hole you can select "extend through all" or you can input a crazy depth.
  12. Draw two circles. one for the thru hole and one for counter bore. on the, "Disc" model select the thru hole, create solid, extrude solids, (solid settings) Cut Body, extend through out all. next select the counter bore, and in the setting select "specified distance" I got a X5 Solids book for TheeCircle™ members. It should be the same with X7. Let me know if you want it and I'll send it to you.
  13. If the one that runs is from X6 check in in your control configuration that you have both values for arcs the same from your X6 to X7 control config. Here's how ours looks like:
  14. can you post a similar program with X6 and compare the two codes?
  15. Does your control require a D value in the G41 line like FANUCs?
  16. The code looks good. You don't have a crazy offset on the cutter comp do you? What control is giving you this problem?
