so we got an old hitchi seki with a fanuc control
i am using cimco to talk to it. programs go in and out. the problem is when i send them from the lathe to cimco it leave open lines between the code. not a big deal but if i send the program back the spaces are all end of blocks witch is a problem.
it looks like this going into cimco

i am sorry to hear you have to work with that material.
i would machine it and get qc to sign it off asap. because the next day it will not be even close to what you started. that stuff moves every day by temp
i hate working with it.
the second post colin sent is right. run it every day just watch your rpm over 1000 its a fadal no mill tap cnc it will do it but can't say thread will be good.
yup that's all we do here cut and recut

ps we bought this way cheaper than the robo if you can be leave that like alot it was a no brainier longer x and y and 25 tools 24k spindle and it a MORI SEIKI

can anyone tell me what this program is? and is it part of the Aladdin hasp because in the device manager under USB Aladdin is not there but safe-net is and i am having problem with mx saying invalid hasp.

how do you do a 4 start thread? i never done it thread milling. i am assuming 4 tool paths one at 0 the next at 90 then 180 and 270.

hello all. in short as i can. x4 file open it with x6 how do i control the machine def automatically? in other words i want the x6 machine def rules to over power anything that was done in x4 or older. one example would be wear comp was aloud in x4 in x6 it will not be. so how can or can it stop an existing file or made into a dirty tool path?
PS i do not want to start a thread post on why i don't what wear comp aloud. if it does start i will just delete the posting i just want the answer.

What i don't under stand is program 2 he said it made it eraser to add or subtract work station the sub starts then goes back to program 1 main not back to program 2.
