Brian, You can cut that all day long with level 1 except for the transition in the center where the features are sharp. You'll have the radii from the ball EM there. You need to choose the wireframe toolpaths ..use the ruled or swept toolpath. For that feature I would use the ruled. You just need to chain the profile beginning and end profile. The swept toolpath is a good toolpath too but ruled is a better fit for now. Let me know if you need more help. Stan

thanks Keith but I figured it out. There was a .0005 gap when I zoomed real close. funny thing though I analyzed them both and the z value was correct and the endpoints were the same...IDK, I just understand why the contour worked and not the pocket . THX for the comments Stan

I am expecting the chain to be closed. Whats the difference in the chain if its a contour or pocket? I want to pocket the chain not contour it. I tried zooming in but didn't see anything

I chain geometry for a contour and it works OK. I chain the same geometry for a pocket and it alarms "boundry not closed"???? HOW can that be?

when I make changes to the current tool manager in my group/operations the changes are not output to the code correctly. What gives with that? I tried editing the tool library too(separate from the file)and it still doesn't output the changes. Tried a reboot...nuttin any help will be appreciated

anyone know a way to quickly change/modify miltiple arcs. I can select all the arcs but cant change them all at once. I know I can edit the entity by selecting analyze and changing the diameter but that only works for the single arc. I thought the "propagate Icon" should work but it didn't.

I'm having trouble exporting operations. I select a single tool path group of operations and M-cam locks up. Any one else having this problem? It is random cause sometimes it works fine.

thanks fellas. I already do that but, I went to drill some holes and WINDOW points but they really aren't there to pick. So, I had to use mask on arc which was more clicks. Not a biggy just a thought

I thought it was me....same thing here..freakin red X, just from going in and out of parameters tab PITA. You would think that would be an easy fix
