  12. This has been a major headache for myslef as well. You can most always find "work arounds" but that is why we purchased this product, to run as they say it should not to find ways to work around their bugs.
  13. In XP Pro right click on your windows tool bar and open up the task manager. Click on the processes tab' find mastercam.exe and right click on it, now click on set Affinity, you should see two green arrows for your cpu's, uncheck one and your now running one session on one cpu. Open a second session and find the second session in your task manager and uncheck the other arrow and you now have two sessions running on seperate processors. CRUNCH and RUN.
  14. ------------------------------------------------ Is anyone running a second session on the 2nd monitor while the first one crunches? ------------------------------------------------- Yes John that is exactly how we do it.
  15. I run dual processors and set each processor to one one session of MCam each. Works well. Also use dual monitors ( its a nice productivity tool ).

  18. There is quite a list of crashes that happen. But the files/operations that don't release there previous data ( even when is not on the screen ) or the ops that change when exiting and returning to the same program. Those little things tend to BUG me. esp on large files.
  19. Question! Not really a question, more of a statement. Just waiting for a few issues to be resolved.
  20. I also have not read the hole thread, but YES those things are happening Altek, to me as well. So, I just quite copying programs from other programs. I know that is not a fix and MC needs to address this issue.
