There should not be any differences between xform rotate in X6 or X7, like K2 said above, perhaps check your planes. An alternative to checking your planes would be to try a Dynamic Xform, pick your rotation point then highlight the X, Y, or Z of the gnomon until only the two axial legs of the gnomon are highlighted and pick, then just spin the part and / or type your rotation value. Hope this helps
If you happen to have the multiaxis package, those toolpaths will allow for the most toolpath control and are always my first choice on undercuts if you have them, simply choose a path and tell it 3 axis. if you do not have those paths then flowline like others have stated typically works very well also.
If that does not take care of the problem, check make sure you are up to date woh your .net framework. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653
Agreed.
I would try resetting your config file - C:\Users\NAME\Documents\my mcamx6 (x6) or C:\Users\NAME\Documents\my mcamx5 (x5). Just rename the file "mcamx.config" to "mcamxold.config" in those locations and it should regenerate that file upon re-opening mastercam. Then you may need to set your screen colors etc. but this may correct those issues if this file was copied over from another computer or version or if this file was corrupted in any way. You can contact your re seller and they should be able to provide you with more detailed instructions.
