O ya that worked great thanks
Now another thing ive been told you can turn and then mill Program in one file.
So if 8 were to turn a part, how would I go about milling, , wouldnt I need to oriente my model for milling, , wouldnt the lathe construction lines be in the way? Or should I give them all different levels so o can hide them,
Im jist trying to understand this bettwr
Mind my spelling, I usually post from my phone and dont think ill ever get used to the touch screen phones, this is my first "SMART PHONE" the note 2
I once pondered y would a company have more than 1 cam
I came to conclude its if the time came for a new programmer it increases your shot of finding a programmer as apposed to limiting your options and time spent finding someone thats good and thats good with that 1 software. Or is that not correct?
can anyone help me
im trying to add views in the custom functions area and i need to add a + for alt+3 but it also enters shift when i do it
ideas?and i couldnt ask on their forum my registration got fizzed for the moment
i got it /supposed to hit alt+3 at the same time
its got a web browser launch button but does anyone know if i can set it to open a program?
like if i can set it so that i push a button and mastercam opens
uncle sam a claus has never been better to me than this yr
got my spacepilot pro in this morning and love the programmable keys
no more alt edit delete delete entites, just button 1!
the views are at my fingertip instead of hauling the mouse up to the toolbars,
the level manager is a button,
operations manager is another
its got a screen fit button
esc,ctrl,alt,shift,
you can set the buttons for keyboard functions like spacebar and on and on and on
its functions switch to the mastercam ones once mcam opens, its got separate functions on its own just in windows
so frikn sweet i cant stand it
A simple solution the way i always did it cuz i did alot of 4th axis engraving
draw the letters in the position how you want
toolpath, contour
then just axis substitution on y enter your part dia and boom
ya the backplot and toolpaths look like that but thats the way i always did it
and it always worked for me atleast.
prety much like aimer said
dont worry about wrapping
keep it simple cuz its just that
Ya looks wild when I get off in the am if no ones helped you correct this by then ill do one and be able to give you more accurate instructions of what im trying to explain
I havent done it in a while bur there are several ways
Easy enough that I figired it out once just by playong around with it for a but
You can create the letters on an arc
Like when you go to make the letters it will ask if you want it to be on an arc so you just tell it the size you want
You can get it I mean If I figured it out on my own with no book or anyone to help me then its not that complicated
Looks like im missin this one
Too bad to really enjoyed what I learned from the last one
Solid hole for drill sizes the dynamic xform etc
The dynamic xform was a great function to learn about
Hope I can catch the video off utoob
Have u tried the analyze entity properties
If their is a constrction line say a circle you can change its diameter and the solid and even a fillet or chamfer will change with it
Very nifty feature
ok this is my first time trying to machine with solids and not wireframe
where am i going wrong been tryin lots of things but dont really have a clue how to make it work with a solid
also its saying error i am not permitted to upload this kind of file when i try to upload the x6hle file of this part
Easiest way I can think is to buy a book from this site
Will get you up to speed quickly and real cheap
I recently went straight from v9 to x6 and it really wasn't a big deal at all with that book
