    Its been a few years since I last made a custom tool. What am I doing wrong? Drew my profile in top view and opened tool manager and chose to select from level. Also, Cant remember ,but I should be able to view the correct tool in backplot right? CUSTOM TOOL.MCX-7

    Nice I've never thought about that way. This is how I've always done it. I just check the lead in on first and last depth buttons SAMPLE LEAD.MCX-7

    Right click On the toolpath in the ops manager. toolpath editor will be at the bottom of the drop down menu. It takes a little bit to understand how to use the editor. I usually just manually edit the code myself tho.

    Our company just ordered a Yama seiki bm-1020.. what are your thoughts on this machine? I'm excited for this,finally a mill that is not fadal! As this machine will be for our hard metal parts( ti 6-4. Inco. Stainless ) Think he got the gear driven 50 taper. I only know the fadals system, how is transitioning to fanuc?

    Not sure. I'm on mastercam website I click the x7 mu2 full install then click save and then download. Then click view downloads and watch it download and stop at 2%

    I'm still on x7 because I could never get x8 to download off the website. Same problem I'm having now trying to reinstall x7. Been at it since 6 this morning. Got to 8% and froze it canceled and started again and it's been stuck at 2% for a long time now

    I have no clue. Computer just updates when it pleases. That was last week. Been running x7 all this week no no problems til now.
