  2. Hi guy's, So there is these great VB-Script here on the forum written by Rekd and others, and I just have no clue on this stuff . I am running Mcam 8.1.1 so maybe it is now avalible to me, but I did a search on the help topic in Mcam, and did a *.VB search on the computer, and did not come up with anything. Can I use these Scripts, or do I need Version 9? If I can, how and were do I put them in the computer?. Thanks Lars The Dane who hate when he dont understand
  3. I am home right now and can not look at my post, to see what is going on in there, but I had a Robofil for a year at the shop and I use the MPFanuc post coming on the CD, and I did not have to edit these things, when I used STCW. But this machine had there new Millinium control. I will take a look when I get in later. Lars

  8. Scot, As I read your posts a 3rd. I start to understand what you actelly are writting (Me and English ) So you are creating a perfect operation manager, were everything is in perfect ordrer, posting out you program, closing down your file, and then the next morning your operation manager is one big mess. Well, Hmm, WOW!! Lars
  9. Parallel, Please do a search on the forum, ATI cards have been well coverd in the past. Search->ATI card->138 hits. Lars
  10. Watermaker, I think most tool supliers cary them, try Ultra tool, Harvey or MSC etc. Lars
  11. Scot, I am still shooting blind, but when I need to import geometry with toolpath I use Job setup, not pattern, from reading in the help section Pattern can not import toolpath. I am long from being a expert as you might know from my posts here on the forum, but you might want to try import throw Job setup. correction, When I wrote the post were I used the word "Use toolnumbers" I was not near Mastercam, what I was thinking of was "Asign toolnumbers seq." but that might be way out of what you are having problems with here. Thanks Lars
  12. Scot, I might be way out, but is this caused because your parameter has changest in your Job Setup? Something like you have "Use Toolnumbers" checked in the one you are importing too? I am just shooting blind with ideas Lars
  13. Iskander, Well that is how you and I see it, but those bosses. The Boss sayes: Let me see, there is 24 hours in a day, that means 336 hours in to weeks, Now I have bought this machine and I have seen it run by it self, while Millman is programing next job, so that is 336 hours for the machine and 336 hours for the Millman. = 672 hours. Conclution watchs out Millman you have 272 hours of more work coming. Reminds me of the 1st. place I worked, the Boss made the toolamker promis that if the Boss bought him a new Matsuraa with a pallet changer, that he would make the machine run 16 hours a day, this was a mold shop were most operation took under a 1 hour in cycle time. Can you say stupid Lars
  14. Millman and Matthew, That was what I thought I should do, but it would just rename it postname.PSM.PST I finally went to Microsofts site, and saw there was a issue, so I took the files home and did it in XP. Thanks so much for your help Lars
  15. Iskander, Are you saying you cant do that on your Fadal??? Lars
  16. Ok, so I have already proved to you guy's in this topic that I am not very intellegent. quote: The first thing to do is rename the original file with extension .PSM Have I just lost all my visdom, or did WIN2000 changes, I use to change file extension back in the old days, now I can not figure out how to do it (wish there was a instant Graemlin that cryed) Thanks Lars
  17. Never mind, I am a idiot, I was looking on the C-Hook list on this site, not in my own damn Mcam folder Lars
  18. Hi guy's It is 5 days this post have been active, and I think that most people has come across it, so I am not going to try to keep this post at top 10 list. This dont mean that it is to late to donate, but if you are coming across this post and your calendar is reading 2007 your donation is probely going to Josh's daughters college fond, what offcourse would not be a bad course in it self. I would like to thank everyone who help, I had never in my wildes dreams thought that it would get as many response, and I thought it was great that also Canadiens was involved. I am thinking of sending snail-mail to Rekd, then he probely have old outwashed Mastercam T-shirt he can wear, and give it to Josh when he gets home(CA.)(Maybe next week) and tell him it is from the "Proud Mastercam users". Thanks Lars
