Hi all
I have a part here that I am going around and chamfering all the sharp edges. My problem I am getting is when I chamfer a profile with 45 deg angles the tool shows that it is cutting deeper on the 45 angles. Now this is just in verify so I'm not sure if this is graphic related. I put a sample of what I am getting on the FTP site.
MCX folder-chamfer test.mcx If someone could take a look I would appreciate
Thanks
Mike
Hi all,
Have a part here that I am deciding weather to quote or not. It is a part designed for a mold but the customer wants a machined quote also. I only have mill level II so I think I'm limited.
The file is on the FTP site in MCX folder named mill level2.mcx If someone can take a look and let me know I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Mike
Hi all
I just switched a job to a different machine. On the first machine there is a 24 station carousel and on the second machine there is a 14 station carousel. I have both numbers in my MD/tool changer group correctly. When I switched the job to the 14 station machine it alowed me to, even with tool 24?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Mike

John's suggestion worked great. But you are correct there were a few M11's I did have to go in and delete because I did not want it to rotate when I had a tool change. I want the next tool to work at the last rotation. I'm a little busy today but I will take a look at what you suggested
Thanks
Mike

After getting a little deeper in my program I noticed I need the M11 after the clearance plane.
This is what I get now:
G80
M11
G0 Z4.
This is what I need
G80
G0 Z4.
M11
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Mike

It is a haas indexer with its own control that
I have to program by hand. All I need my main program to do is send signal (M11) for it to index. I was thinking something in the canned text parameters could do this could do this??
