  2. Hi all Anyone running this card? Putting one in on Monday and wanted to get a jump on some settings Any special driver?...etc Thanks Mike
  3. The only thing I notice slower here is my backplot.
  4. Robert How do I no what toolbar to remove? I don't remember putting them on a toolbar. But I have played around with alot in the past
  5. The only one in red is the Arc MultiEdit.ft
  6. Jeff Go to the drop down and right click on chain
  7. Do I still have a X_MR2 folder? I don't see one. I did not do a side by side
  8. gcode Thanks they are still in my chooks folder do I just delete them then reinstall?
  9. Hi all I get the error report dialog box when I open up mcam X2. I did a search for this and found some info but it was for a side by side install. I did not do a side by side. Not sure how to get rid of it. Thanks for any info! Mike
  10. Seems to be better with other files. Thanks for the response fellas....
  11. Hi all Not sure if its a setting I am missing, just wanted to see if anyone is having any backplot issues with X2. When I click the play button my tolls are moving very slow. If I step through with the "S" key it is fine. It is also fine just sliding the slider back and forth. I'm thinking a setting is changed but can't find it yet
  12. John The 256 ram for the 1500 and 512 ram for the 7900 is not worth it?
  13. Ok guys hate to beat a dead horse but....... I have a choice of two cards both in the same price range. The quadro fx 1500 or the geforce 7900 gtx. What to do what to do??
  14. Heavy thats how I ran my first order I just finished up. The only thing I didn't look into that might help is a wiper insert. I have not had an application for one before. Anyone have experience with them?
  15. Thanks for the suggestions gang!... I'm just finishing up an order now. I was not having any issues with the flatness just chatter. (Have some flatsanding to do...grrr) I will try some flycutting on my next run and let you know how I make out.
  16. Tim I don't have much fly cutting experience. With something like this am I correct to want a small radius tool so not to push on the material? Do you have any tool bit suggestions to use in the flycutter? And also maybe some starting speed and feed parameters.
  17. Jim Sorry I didn't mention this is a production run. Clay would not be an option. Thanks for the suggestion
  18. Hi all I have this extruded heatsink that I need to skim the bottom flat within .001 with a 32 finish. Anyone have any tooling suggestions? I will be holding it with a wedgeclamp pushing against a fixed stop. I can only cut between .005-.010 off the part. So far I have tried a 2.00 45° face with not much luck. Some parts cut nice but others chattered Thanks Mike
  19. Henk Yes its a preview but after excepting the new position the box geometry stays
  20. Bump.... Anyone no a fix? Sucks to have to delete this everytime
  21. And undo does not get rid of the box...
  22. Mark You are right. If I translate or rotate with the main level on, the box is there but goes away after I hit accept. I then turned my main level off and did the samething. I had no box on my clamp level but then turned the main level back on and the box was on the main level...
  23. Mark So If I leave my main level on and rotate the clamp I am not going to get the boxes? I'll give it a shot
  24. Thad Yes this is after I rotated the part. I refresh and still there.
  25. Hi all I get this quite often and not sure why. I just merged a DE-STA-CO clamp into my file and when I rotate it to the right orientation for my file I get boxes around the clamp. Any ideas why? Thanks Mike
