With pocket machining on a surface pocket I'd like to take a finishing cut at the final depth as well as on the sides. No problems with side finishing cut , but cant figure depth cut.

This customer is a pain in the arse
They only want to send PDF files and from what I
can figure out is that its basicly a screen dump.
I was wondering if there was a PDF drawing package
so we could import PDF and export IGES or DXF.
We are still required to M/c there parts to there
drawing as there drawn geometry overides dimensions.
Im going to tell them to wake up and smell the coffee.
Im trying to modify a Heidinhain Post that was generously sent to me ( Thanks for all your replys to an earlier post)
What i would like to know is
1- What forces the file extension ie .NC .EIA
.H ect in the post or else where?
Thats It for now
Thanks in advance

May be that if posts were free more seats of Mastercam would be sold .
It was hard work to justify getting Mastercam in the first place then the $$ to upgrade to level 3.
And now more $$$ to get a post that works.
May be the 5axis M/c supplier shiuld produce the goods.
Just a thought.
Ive sorted the regen prob.
Someone had used my PC to verify a program and clicked the regen toolpaths box and also clicked
the dont show this box again tab.
I deleted regen.dat file out and all is sweet.
Apart from the drilling.
Could it be a metric thing as all our file are metric
Cheers
We are try to run PVCNC V4 in mastercam V8.1 using the C-hook and I'm having the following problems.
Can anyone help please!!!
when launching the c-hook it starts to regen all the toolpaths which can take considerable time on complex 3d models.
The cycle time estamate is completly wrong when drilling and tapping ie hours instead of mins.
Im sure this are minor problems to over come and there is no local agent around here so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
