  1. Everything seems to be working for me here.
  2. quote: He's about to get the steel cuffs M. Jackson I wonder if several million will get him out of trouble this time!!! If you ask me, dude is musically talented, but has serious problems.
  3. elbro & MayDay, I think thats it. I'll give this to our R&D guy in the morning. Thanks
  4. Its a straight male thread - not NPT.
  5. We have a threaded fitting here that is 14 TPI with a major Dia. of 1.027. Cant find anything with a major Dia. of 1.027 in the machinist hand book. Any ideas?
  6. I too want to say thanks to all. Several weeks ago I asked a question about C-Axis work. Someone here told me about the MI4 toggle (sorry cant find the original thread). We finally got our tooling and the program ran great. The post changes I learned here and programming problems/tips discussed are awesome, not to mention the O/T discussions. I only hope one day I can help as much as you all have helped me. Thanks again.
  7. quote: Topic: Any words of advice?
  8. quote: As for the spare time. My 2 young kids take all I've got. I'll second that. We have 3 with one on the way. I have more spare time at work then at home.
  9. quote: Does anybody have a post for a Haas VF-3? I just bought the machine and don't want to do any work, also is there someone that will come and run it for my for free, I don't want to get dirty! Have it deliverd here and I'll take care of the rest.....except the payments!!
  10. quote: I guess no one has any spare time. I have lots of it on Fridays. This place is like a ghost town today. Manufacturing doesnt do Fridays and most everyone else is gone with deer hunting. 4 of us in the whole place. All working real hard too!!!
  11. quote: What's even worse is when a part gets scrapped because the operator had their head up their a$$....and you're the operator!!! Never done that before....right
  12. quote: .....I saw what you had posted Scott... I didnt....whats going on!!
  13. O.K., O.K. Dont beat me up to bad. Silly question I guess. quote: You better wait in patience for a disk from a dealer I know, its frustrating sitting here not being able to do things that I know I should. I lost all day yesterday and most of today dealing with the dreaded crash. quote: Your dealer can't get you the 9.1 sp2 cd???? Didnt ask, hope so though. I just called and said I need something and quick. Whats the best you can do? Thanks any way, hope it gets here tomorrow A.M.
  14. We need to reinstall 9.1 and nobody can find the disk. I just spoke with our dealer and they will try to get a disk here by tomorrow, but no guarantee's. Is this available to download, or can I only download patches?
  15. quote: make sure you have 9.1 installed because you didn't have the plunge parameters in canned cycles in 9.0. That was it. They installed 9.0 after crash yesterday. I guess we need to dig for the new disk. Thanks for the prompt help.
  16. How do I restrict the roughing tool from doing undercuts. The canned roughing cycle does not have the plunge parameters option. It worked until yesterday when my PC crashed and everything had to be re-installed. Old files that ran good are now bad when regend???? Is there something I need to change?
  17. I used to work for a guy that made me use a stopwatch. If I went to do something else I would stop the stop watch. He wanted it right to the second. What an as$%^le. Many times it took longer to keep track of it then to get the job done. Glad I'm not there anymore.
  18. quote: Enjoy bright green for a few hours though. Oh Im enjoying it all right!!
  19. Roger, It worked great. The spaces code was in other places but I wasnt sure what it was for. Now I know. Like I said before, not a day goes by that I dont learn something here. Hope I can be as helpfull someday. to all!!!
  20. James, Changing spaces to 0 removed spaces everywhere. I ended up removing the "-" between each word. Now it post month day year (no spaces though). Thats better than day month year. Never could get used to that. Thank you all for your efforts. I learn a little more every day.
  21. O.K. Hope I'm not being to picky. How do I get rid of teh extra spaces between month, day and year? *progno, "(EMCO", " ", progname," ",*smonth,"-",*day,"-",*year,")", e :4030 (EMCO TEMP NOV -05 -03 )
  22. James, What part of the post does this go into? quote: # ---------------------------------------------------------------- #Select month smon00 "" smon01 "JAN" smon02 "FEB" smon03 "MAR" smon04 "APR" smon05 "MAY" smon06 "JUN" smon07 "JUL" smon08 "AUG" smon09 "SEP" smon10 "OCT" smon11 "NOV" smon12 "DEC" smonth fstrsel smon00 month smonth Thanks
  23. How do you change the format of the date? 11-05-03 is what I want. 05-11-03 is what I get. All I have in the post is *progno, "(progname, " ", date, ")", e Is there a way to switch month and day? Thanks,
  24. Hey guys, As I read about people using Manual Entry, I was thinking you were manually changing code after posting. DUH!! What an idiot. Its finally sinking in how cool this option could be. Just wish I could use it!! What do I need to do to get the text in manual entry to post? Ive tried every option in manual entry. Is there something in the post that I need to support it or what?
