do you have some example (file )using FBD on multy planes for 4 axis VMC?

I trying to use FBD in 4 axis .

And for some reason it picking holes on one some planes and not picking on other .

Forget it. I found the issue.

 

The problem was between the monitor and the seat. I had my toolpath config checked to "use tool's step, pesk, coolant". unchecked it and all worked out fine.

Can you please discribe where i can find this "config checked to "use tool's step, pesk, coolant".

Following by your recomendations

Bring it in unshaded. Turn up the screen shade setting to .5 if you really want to shade. Make sure you have a paging size turned up from the get set windows to best performance on the view options.

what numbers you recomend for the paging size?

Hello everybody ,

I have to work with huge file (Para solid file is more that 1 gb ).

File originally made on SW2012. With huge amount of fillets and surfaces .

My computer is relatively strong (processor is I7 64 bit with 16 GB of RAM )

My Masrecam X6 MU1 still keeps crushing . I usually work with huge file but this one just monster.

Anybody has experience , suggestions how to handle this file. Might possible to make it smaller (clean up) . Might some software which can help to filter it .

I appreciate any help-advise .

Usually Okuma format different , not same as Fanuc .

i use the one developed by IHS and it works flawlessly out of the box !

Mastercam X6 MU1 64-bit

Use this product to install Mastercam X6 MU1 on a 64-bit operating system. It will not run on a 32-bit OS.
