So far i can't make it work for the renishaw probe .

Something with my macro

Idea to use probe to set work offset - Z0 from some face (top of the table ) then set all tool lengths from same face .

Then automatically set Z0 by using probing macros .

We are molding shop with many setups a day ,often setups fancy. Limitation Okuma set is too strong and make this set ups even

more difficult and slow . But I don't want to disable this permanently like removing protective flag (switch) or so .

New Okuma we got is Genos with P200 control.

Hello Okuma mill gurus ,

We using Okuma VMC 's for long time . We never had problem to turn on empty spindle or do tool change when spindle is empty.

New Okuma VMC with control P200 not allow me to do it .

I still hope this is parameters setting . I looked thru books and can't find parameters which is responsable for it.

Maybe some one from Okuma gurus can give me an advise how to fix this problem

If I selecting tool from library it automatically mean that i selecting assembly?

Is it possible select just tool without holder for simple operation as was before in X6?

Personaly i don't like new verify .

It not user frendly as was before ,

Today i noticed, that when creating new tool in tool manager, there is "tapper angle" and "tapper length" column to define cone between cutting diameter and shank. Thanks for that option. But if i want to edit existing tool, i can't find these values in tool properties.

Try closing X7 and deleting the machine sim ini files out of your my mcamx7 files.

X7 will generate a fresh copy when you launch.

After each time I use machine simulation I have to delete this .ini files .

Well, it worked for one file. But not another. Now how do you get X7 to close? I kinda figured you just click the red "X" but that doesn't do anything

After deleting "****.ini" file my problems has gone so far

Then when it does fire up I get this little window

 

I think it says "You been here 4 hour! You go now!"
