Creating custom lathe tool as 2 d geometry . Is it possible modify blade (insert) and holder as 3D geometry (change cross section .etc) ?

Can't that is not part of the HLE as far as I know.

There is a parameter page that you have to set which axis' are being cancelled when you push the button. You can choose any combination of XYZ axis.

Anyone can describe how “AXIS CMD CANSEL” button works on Okuma control.

It must cancel axis command by axis but it not working for me . What do I do wrong ?

Installed mastercam learn edition (HLE) and trying to learn mill/turn segment .

Unfortunately can't find any complimentary files ( mmd ,post or so) which make impossible to do anything .

Where I can find any mill/turn machine definition/control files for learning purposes?

Just installed Mastercam XLE on my laptop to learn mill turn option .

But there is no any machines in "machine definition directory". Copied some from CNC machines -lathe . Still not there .

How to get this thing running ? Can't ask my reseller, everybody on holiday. Good time to learn but not good time to ask .
