I am gonna try the scuffing that James suggested.
I have had the problem on occasion and think that sounds like the quickest fix!
Thanks James for the tip!
Brian
I think I was in such a hurry to try and help Jeromy that when I was running through the steps, I forgot to change it to inside, and not inside and intersecting. That probably would be the reason I duplicated it. +1 to camguy. It dosent seem to have anything to do with the color.
Wow talk about feeling like a horses a**.
Some day I will get it right!
Brian
Jeremy,
I just duplicated your problem and I dont know if its the green or not! Change your color, screen- change colors- then select entities-done. Then I went modify-drag-window-set mask make sure in your attributes your color box is selected, and then pick your color and hit ok.Then I chose inside and rectangled the whole works. Only the color I have masked is highlighted for me.But with the color green it highlighted everything.
Whats up with that?
Just try changing your color of what you want and set your new mask color to that and I believe it will work.
hth,
Brian
Jeremy,
Dont forget to set your color mask before you select entitys, its located just below your use mask. modify drag window set mask, then color select what you want.
hth,
Brian
Welcome Anthony,
I am not able to work with the posts as good as the gurus here do. But I am sure one of the first questions they will ask is what are you posting to. (what type of machine)
Good Luck,
Brian

Whenever my surfaces are jaggedy I go into screen-surface display-shading and change my chord height to .001 and it seems to smoothen everything out for me.
Not sure if it helps ya out or not.
good luck,
Brian
I did what you guys said,
Unchecked the passive, and it was checked and tried again. Seems to connect and once it gets to the command pasv line it sits then after about 5 minutes it disconnects me and gives me the dreaded operation timed out!
You know guys, at one time I thought I would have a good chance moving anywhere in the states and landing a good job as a mastercam programmer. And after the feeling of stupidity of trying to get to the ftp and cant even do that maybe I"ll stay here in little ol decorah, Iowa
Thanks,
Brian
As you know I have been trying to get on the ftp site. Today I downloaded filezilla. It seems to be connecting, but I am not seeing anything. It tells me retrieving directory list and then sits there. Here is what it shows me on connection, any help on why Im not getting in would be appreciated.

then at this point it sits.

Thanks Bullines,
I contacted our administrator, and hes taking the info to our networking division.I was getting kind of frustrated wondering if I was the only one with the problem. It seems everyone just unchecks the ftp passive in their internet settings and they are in. Now I have something else to try.
Thanks again,
Brian
Nothing works for me!
Ive tried the passive ftp in internet settings, contacted our administrator,he contacted his boss. His boss tried to get on and couldnt, and concluded they need to go through whoever does our networking. All claiming firewall! When I got home I can get on there. Only problem is I dont have mastercam there, so it dosnt do me good. Why do I feel everyone sees the ftp site but me?
Someday I get in there...
Brian
If you do a search for cutters compensation you should find I think what your looking for. http://www.emastercam.com/ubb/ultimatebb.p...ic;f=1;t=014292
Hope this helps!
Brian
we were always told that if you had interupted cuts not to use coolant, and if you didnt have interupted cuts you could. Probably thermal shock issue.
