  1. yes i tried that as well no difference in the posting. i'm using the mpmaster post. the main problem is the small A moves with the X & Y axis the feedrates are low and the machine will crawl in those areas. thanks again for the response!

  3. after creating a toolpath in advanced 5 axis such as a helical type vane on a cylinder, i post it out as 4 axis but the feedrate doesn't post correctly. Meaning at some areas it really crawls. If i give it a 5 ipm naturally it will be a faster feed where there are "A" axis moves, but in some the feed is way to slow. I've tried all the 4 axis posts that came with X2 MR1, but same results with all of them. I have to through all my code to adjust those areas. Is this something I'm just going to have to deal with? Is it a Mastercam issue? or a post issue? thanks for all replies!
  4. Greg, I emailed you but if you didn't get it, did you solve this problem? curiuos because I'm having the same issue. probably simple but let me know. thanks
  5. please, i'd like to see your example
  6. Do I need to be a paying member to access FTP?
  7. I have to say MC ver9 had a better verify feature. The part rotated instead of the cutter moving, i've read earlier posts and see people have had similar problems where the next tool can wipe out the entire part just because of how it plots it with the tool. Sometimes new isn't better. shame
  8. no can't go back or get mozilla
  9. John, I tried uploading the file to FTP, but it's asking me for a user name and password when i try to open it in windows explorer. I have IE ver 7 and I also unchecked the "Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatibility)" checkbox. Help?
  10. upgraded to true solids 5 axis verify and it comes out looking gouged along impellar vanes. When i turn off true solids it looks good. any input? I have mill level 3 with advanced 5axis. thanks and great forum also.
