Best Toolpath for cuting raised letters on a concave and convex surfaces?

What is the best way to machine raised letters and raised detail on a concave and convex surface? The geometry is an imported solid model. I tried to use the fnish project, but have not gotten good results. I keep getting an error message. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a better toolpath that would work for me? The part is small and I need to use 1/16 and 1/32 ball endmills. I did get good results with Surface,Finish,Radial. And than use Finish, Surface, Contour to clean everything up with the 1/32 ball endmill. If there is a better way to do this please help! Thank You

I would make pocket operations (First mill regular pocket and remachinig for next ones ,leave a bit of offset for sides and height ) close them from toolpathing and display ,make from them surface project on sufrace from this operations ,use surface-contour for letters finishing and shallow for floor finishing .

I did this sort of things a lot .
