Error......

Error processing solid:

cannot find solid referenced by history file.

Followed by "Warning":

Corrupt or invalid file. Contact your local MC Dealer.

 

Happened twice this morning Coverted solid

again and it bombs out.

I lose my solid and my toolpaths. What gives???

Try deleting all the files in your Temp and

Regen folder. Check the file path in

Screen/Config/Files to see where they are on

your machine.

May be you have some suppressed features(unsuppress ) or moved up stop on icon (end of the binary tree ) ?!?

Are you running out of space on your hard disk or network saving?

Not at all.

 

 

Heres what I did find out though:

The last thing I did with this file on saturday was

verify. So I brought the solid back in, put down

toolpaths and before I ran verify again I saved off

a copy of the file.

Now here comes the problem:

I verified the toolpath against a parasolid (.x_t) let it run its course. Closed the file,

opened it and BAM!! "ERROR"

Hardmill,

I would check with Scott and see if he is done with his broom and try that

I tried some verify with parasolids and wound up with errors also. didnt lose the file tho. since then I stick with STL

my bad, maybe you didnt see Jays thread about Scotts puter going puke and having to sweep

If you saved your solid when it was "dirty" you `ve got it

Sometimes this is no way back action .

I always make surfaces from solid for this and other cases .

If you`ve done it, you would have surfaces ,at least .
