Newest MC update

I just downloaded the new patch for 11-19-04

and I get a message saying "Please insert disk 1 that contains the file layout.bin"

Why do I get this???

Well I have mine downloaded for maintenance customers only.

Thats the one. Unzip to a folder then run the .EXE from that folder.

 

I had no problems.....Yes, maintenance here as well.

I just opened the zip folder and ran the executable.

I dont know Jeff, but I would assume that is it. Did it show up in your xxxx/remove section? If it did, try to unistall and then extract it and start over. Otherwise just extract to a created folder and run the setup.exe.

 

That might repair the bad install.

I let winzip do all the work, jusy exe from there.

Question, I got the maintenance aggreement too, but it looks like anyone can download the update files, is the maint. charge just for major updates like going from 9 to 9.1, and 9.1 to 10?

Maint. and Non-Maint. downloads are different. The Non is only the Translator updates. Maint. has enhancements plus Translators.
