installed correctly?

I have just downloaded the newest maint. patch work (0105). How do I know if I have been doing all these downloads right or not?

 

At the top of the screen after Mastercam it still reads Version9.1 MR0304.

I'd try again. Mine says 'MR0105'. But I also believe you need 0904 installed first before 0105... or am I not remembering right?

Just checked it... note says you also need "Patches and Updates through October 2004".

Good Morning forum.

 

I am very stuck here and its not in the snow.

I have V9.1 0304 downloaded, But I can't seem to do the next one, 0904.

 

Where should I start? What to do next? When i down load it were should I put it? In "C" drive in the mastercam folder? Or in "C" drive "temp" folder? And should I delete it and everything in its folder? Should I just go find the IT guy?

Unzip it into a temp folder then double clcik setup.exe

"Patches and Updates through October 2004" should get you to where you need to be to install MR0105. Have you installed that yet?

 

Have you been installing all the updates along the way? Is so, you wouldn't need the "updates through Oct."

Ok I will try into the temp folder. But do I delete the update I put into the mastercam directory first?

I did down load the 0904 and the patches/updates oct 2004 but I guess it did not work as my mastercam screen still says 0304

It should still say 0304. The MU0904 did not change the executable files, therefore it wasn't considered a new release. There is a chook that you can download from the Maint update page that will tell you if MU0904 has been installed. See what that tells you.

If you run almost any surcasing toolpath

you'll see some text popup at the lower left of your screen. It will tell you whether you are running MR0304 or MR0904.

 

MR0105 will declare itself in the titlebar if its

installed correctly.

I had to delete everything I downloaded into the mastercam folder. Reload and execute everything (in order) and everything is good now!
