Dell 64-bit Precision Workstation

I running one now. I've got graphics card issues but other than that it's running Ok.Got it back in Nov. P4 3Ghz 1 gig ram.

 

I forgot to add....the Graphics cards a Nvidia Quadro FX500/600.

 

Edit..

My bad guys I just realized that this one isn't the newest 64 bit Intel it's the P4 model like the now 370

Ok boys,

Heres the config for my new PC:

*Precision workstion 370 pentium4, 3.4 ghz Intel EM64T, 2M L2 Cache, 800FSB, CX19M71

*2GB, 533MHZ, DDR2 ECC SDRAM Memory, 4X512, Dell pre 370

*nvidia Quadro NVS 280 PCI-E, 64MB, Dual VGA, Graphics card, Dell precision 370

The NVS line of the Quadro's are aimed at "office use" (word processors, spreadsheets and so on) and not for heavy-duty graphics apps like CAD, CAM and DCC. For Mastercam and/or any CAD software you may have, you'd be better served with one of the Quadro FX cards, instead of that NVS one. For what it's worth, Dell offers the Quadro FX 1400, 3400 and 4400 for the Precision 370's.

Not free, AFAIK. I think it was Slashdot that I first read this on...installing Windows XP x64 may void your hardware's warranty (read).

Anything I should look for with this card.

Should be a week before I get my new card.
