I'm sitting here looking at the unchecked save files to update another computer box on the downloader thinking what an idiot I am. I have 2 other seats to update, and I got so excited I didn't think about it till I was a half hour into the download.

 

Oh well, I'll download it again after I get mine installed, maybe it will be in the cache and won't have to downlaod again.

WTF it tells me I have no updates comming???

When I run the Update utility I get the message "Could not connect to update server. Would you like to connect locally?"

 

Anybody else having this problem?

 

Anybody have an idea of what I need to do to fix this problem?

From being a beta site I know that if a bunch of people try to download at once it slows to a crawl.

They may have put a limit on the number of people who can hook up at one time, or they may have put

it offline for some reason.

Wait a while and try again.

That's the error you get if your computer is offline. That's also the error you'd get if 100

million people tried to update all at once and crashed the server.

 

My guess is that a whole lot of people are

trying to update all at once and the server

is choking.
