When installing a side by side installation, the set up will ask you if you want to migrate your current settings to the new install.

 

It will copy your file settings and such into the new install.

Thanks for the reply. I was paranoid that I was going to lose my settings. Starting to download it now. Hopefully I can get IT people to install today. Thanks.

Is there a full install CD coming out for MR2?

Yes your resellers will have it and you can request it. I had no problems with the downloaded version other than my RMB got hosed, but I just loaded from my saved settings and no wala no problem. Probably something I did wrong on the install. I did not do a side by side.

Ok I installed MR2, and it never asked me to migrate my settings. So whats a side by side install and how do I do it
