Master Cam Beeping Error

I dont know if any one else has had this problem, but I have Router Pro and whenever I hit the delete key, and the escape key while clicking in random patterns mastercam starts and continues to beep (very fast and loud beeps from the speaker in the tower).

This will continue until I restart the computer.

I talked with my technician and he figures its some sort of error in mastercam

 

Any one else have this happen to them? If so it is correctable?

I've had that beeping fit before...it goes away after a min.

Usualy happens when going too fast.. no biggie.

Correct...as far as I can tell. This has been logged as defect number cnc00018400.

I have a customer in Ohio running XP that I reported the issues about 2 months or so ago.

Yea it does it in XP. It is also repeatable. If you highlight a feature and press the Del key all is well. But if you enter the Delete command highlight a feature and then press the del key the buzzing startes. Once you are in the delete command the software is looking for the enter key not the del key.

We get this problem on all our Windows 2000 computers with Mastercam X.

DC Gorn - Is there any other way to duplicate this problem on a XP machine? I was unable to do so using your proceedure...just on Win2k. Thanks in advance.
