filling holes on surface?

i have a part that needs to be roughed but there are 3 holes that i want to fill in on a different level. I was able to fill in the one that was sitting flat but not the other 2 because they're not. Any suggestions on this for v9.1

create a ruled surface on them.. need two curves on the holes themselves..

You could put it on the FTP.

 

Depending on the surfaces, there could be a variety of ways to fill them.

check blanked , sometimes the untrimed surface is there and you can then just trim to inside the hole

There's a link at the top of the page called "cadcam's FTP Site." Click that, open an explorer window, then drag and drop your file into the V9 folder. Then tell us the name of your file.

 

There are upload instructions right next to the FTP link.

Depending on the type of holes, you could use the "Fill Holes" option.

It will ask you to select surface to fill holes in, Slide arrow to edge of hole to fill, it will ask if you want to fill them all.

 

OOPS, you are on 9 sorry it will only do flat.

i got it to work. I just created a solid through the hole, and then cut the top off and changed it to a surface and deleted the bottom surfaces. Thanks for the suggestions

looks like ya beat me..mail on the way..

I extruded it from the side, created surfaces from the solid and deleted the surfaces you didnt need.
