unhandled exception error

Guys, possible bug, using multiple applications on dual screen getting an unhandled exception error usually over the operations manager over the number two screen, any ideas??

Switch to single screen, and then try it. If it doesn't do it, then there is a problem with the dual screen.

 

I haven't heard of that error as yet, but I guess it is early days.

Thanks Mick for your answer, but it apairs the config files were corrupt,i now have a back up file, system working again.

Still getting the same error "unhandled exception error" but it will restart.

Dazz, What did you do to fix this? I am getting this same error and MCX2 MR2 won't open.

Never mind, for some reason MCX2 MR2 didn't like the solid works settings in my graphics card. Always worked before.

I'm getting the same "unhandled exception error" on both of the PC's in my department after installing MR2. Usually happens when saving after merging in a file.

I was getting this error almost once an hour. I uninstalled sp1 and haven't had this error since.

when i'm in operation mgr mastercam will lock up

randomly. (not fun)

The (temp) cure is to go to My computer/C drive/mcamx or what ever you are using/common folder/Temp folder/and delet all the files in that folder (not the folders). Restart Mastercam. When Mastercam isn't running there shouldn't be any files in there.

Ken,

once you close MC then no files should be in there. The ones you are listing don't look like the ones that would cause you problems but just make sure that they are gone when not running.

i deleted them......i restart mcam go to op manager....do anything with a toolpath and mcam locks up.

Use the "Replace" button to load a fresh copy of your machine defintion

gcode you da'man.....20 minutes no lockup with many toolpath edits.

 

does the machine def get corrupted?

replacing the machine definition file and knowing to delete all files in the temp folders really helps....thanks gcode and steve

 

mastercam only locked up on me once in the last few hours so i'm encouraged about this fix.

(not happy that it is happening to begin with though)
