90 DEGREE FACE MILL

When using a face mill is there a way to define the tool using 90 degree inserts. When I try putting the value of 90 it gives an error when I try to backplot saying the tool is invalid. Is there a way around this, in the past I just always just made an endmill to the size face mill I needed?????

I define mine as a Bull Nose so I can include the corner rad.

or just make it 89 degrees. works for me

if its a 2 inch cutter i put the outside dim to 2.001 and the inside to 2.0

Have you tried it recently? It works on X2 MR2 SP1 for me, backplot and verify also work.

Well I guees that gives me reasonto upgrade from X2, to X2 MR2 SP1. Might as well wait till next week when my new computer come in.
