illegal plane axis commanded

Do you have a G18 o rG19 in there.

 

That code in and of itself should not cause any problems. The plane error leads me to believe a plane(G17,G18,G19) has been called in error

Heavy, i think that you need to suppress the arc commands in the XZ & YZ vectors in your control definitions. look under the arcs command and shut off the support feature for XZ & YZ

john no all I have is a g17 callout at start of program. i dont why the older post version goes to point to point in those spots but that is what the control likes. got any ideas

Your machine may not support these OR your post is not outputting planes properly, perhaps an edit broke it some where i the past.

 

Can you try a newer post and check the output against that.

 

If you are using a HS toolpath you might try zeroing out the vertical entry values as well

as far as the post i using it is the mpmaster for x2 mr2 from the website

Camdude is onto tsomething, go into your control def and set it to support helixes only in the XY plane

In the control definition, in the arc section, make sure that "No helix allowed" is checked.

get this i changed my filter tol from .0002 to .0005 and this is how she comes out

this was a flowline tool path i got everything set back to allow in the control def actually the step over is what i changed by a .0001. i had create arcs in xy yz off in the surface toolpath filter

now i ticked the xy yz back on and code is still good. I think it had to do with step over and filter tol combo
